Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe biggest issue for us was the shower. The water pressure was really low, which made it hard to fully rinse off — showering took longer than it should’ve. There were also no shelves or ledges inside the shower to hold toiletries or towels, which made things awkward. We had to place our soap and items on the floor. Even just a couple of suction shelves would make a huge difference. Another small but impactful thing: it would be really helpful to have a mirror above the kitchenette sink, since that’s where you brush your teeth and wash your hands. The toilet situation was rough. Every time we flushed, there was an overwhelming bleach smell. It was so strong it made me lightheaded, and we had to open a window to air things out. That was probably the most uncomfortable part of the stay. There was a mirror in the room, which we appreciated, but a floor-length one would’ve been even better. Also, the spring-loaded curtain above the sink was a bit of a pain. The tension seemed off, and it was mounted high up, so we struggled to get it to close properly. There wasn’t much space to put clothing. No dresser, no closet just a long ledge under the windows. Also, there was only one chair and no indoor table. We had to sit on the bed to eat, which wasn’t ideal. There are tables outside, but when it’s hot or buggy, being able to eat comfortably indoors (with the amazing AC) would been nice. However, we do plan to come back. It is a step up from camping :)
We loved our stay at the treehouse it felt like a peaceful little escape. The wood-fired hot tub was a highlight! It was a bit tricky to light at first, but my partner figured it out with the two fire starters provided. We didn’t buy more but didn’t need to; once it got going (just using two logs), it heated up quickly and was perfectly hot by sundown. The setting was super quiet and relaxing. Even though the other treehouses are nearby, we barely saw or heard anyone, they’re very well soundproofed. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained. It also felt good knowing the owners were on-site. They sent a kind welcome message at check-in and again at checkout. I believe we met Patrice briefly — she was so warm and welcoming. Inside, the treehouse is like a cozy studio apartment. The bedding, pillows, and mattress were so comfortable, we both slept great. The air conditioning was amazing, especially since it was a hot day when we arrived. And being able to control the heated floors in the bathroom? Dope The kitchenette was fully stocked with dishes, and we were able to cook our dinner easily. The sink is outside the bathroom (next to the kitchenette), which took a second to get used to but wasn’t a big deal. They also provided two plush robes, hand towels, two large towels, and a black towel which we appreciated. The smart TV had a lot of options, though we mostly used it for background noise while relaxing. Each treehouse also has its own firepit & we thought we’d have to rent one, so it was a nice surprise to have it included. We made s’mores and had drinks by the fire, which made the night feel extra special. The pond area was peaceful, and we saw a family of rabbits hopping around; adorable. On our last day, I finally saw Miller the goat (I would’ve been so sad if I missed him!). The pigs in the back were stinky, but honestly they’re pigs. We still went to say hi

United StatesThe hot-tub was a wood fired hot tub so it was difficult to use. We had a good fire going but for some reason the water was not getting hot. Not sure if it’s because it was too late at night and too cold. But we used the hot tub once the whole time we were there.
Property was very clean, beautiful setting. Quick area to relax.

United StatesStink bugs: somehow there were either numbers of them already in the room or somehow mysteriously getting in the room. We dealt with at least seven and we were hardly in and out of the room for our one day visit. The other oddity was no sink in the bathroom to wash our hands or face.
The property motif is unique and interesting. Easy and comfortable accessibility and instructions in writing & video form. Loved heated bathroom floor, electric skylight blind, hardwood floors to reduce allergens, very comfortable bed. The space and place was very clean.

United StatesCheck-In has many components - there are a lot of ways to err. Be aware that there is only one seat in each cabin and no seats by hot tub (bring a travel chair). There are also no reading lights by beds, so a headlamp is a must if you like to read at night. If it's raining and you planned on cooking meals there is only a very small table for coffee by chair. Otherwise, there are some lovely picnic table area throughout property. The stairs are at each end of the five cabin stretch, so if you don't want foot traffic going through your hot tub area, cabin 5 is your best bet. We rented two cabins but then found they were not next to each other (the wonderful check-in lady fixed this upon arrival) so make sure you request side by side cabins.
The uniqueness of this property is awesome! We especially loved walking out into the fields to say hello to the pigs and our time in the hot tubs (if you're not good at building fires the $45 charge to have one pre-built is probably worth it - the ladies down the way never got their tub hot enough to enjoy). We used the sauna late at night after a long hot tub soak and it was a lovely way to finish the night (the fountains add to the ambiance). Just make sure to bring flip flops for the walk over the gravel.

United StatesThere are a few things that could be improved upon. The pour-over coffee was not good. A small Keurig would have been better. The single chair in our room was uncomfortable. Having two comfortable chairs would be better. A floating shelf under the mirror for cosmetics, hair styling, etc would be great. There were no Kleenex tissues provided. They’re was no guest book in our room. Because there’s no closet, having more hooks to hangers towels, coats, clothes are needed. We also thought it would be nice to have individual steps down to each houses’ Adirondack chair space. We would have loved a small private fire pit in that area, but felt the additional cost was too much.
The location, the hot tub, the aesthetics of the “tree houses,” are very appealing. It was neat, clean, and the sheets and towels great quality.
