Love the property. Love the location. Beautiful view. The only thing that would make it so much better is comfortable furniture in the bungalow. The sofa is really hard on the back. Could not get comfortable. A couple lazy boy chairs would be awesome. A freezer for ice cream and a microwave to heat up food. Hot water for a hot bath. Could not get it past Luke warm. And maybe a TV in the bedroom since the sofa is so uncomfortable. But definitely a beautiful place to stay and the outdoor furniture and fire pit are wonderful 😊.

I had not seen this was an RV park, with many close by neighbors and a pier for fishing as a vie. When a cottage by the sea description cones to mind, it was not a prefabricated modern space ( although unique, spacious and clean), or up on a hill with parking kits surrounding the cottage- facility. There were no utensils or paper towels, but was grateful there was a microwave, refrigerator ( mini) and coffee, tea kettle appliances and coffee snd tea offered. I was prepared with some paper plates and bowls as well as plastic silverware from take out, and a few napkins. For one night and to meet local family, this was handy in a pinch. Just not the type if cottage or facility I envisioned… Not much privacy, there are rules on noise at night, but it is an RV park, kids going around streets with electric scooters without helmets, and no space in the tiny trashcans for any of the used water bottles, plates or packaging trash from foods brought. For the price, at least some utensils or paper towels should have been part of the provided amenities. Description in Booking.com needs to specify more detail as you how a row of pre fabricated spaces that looked like converted space containers decorated minimalist style are what guests will encounter. On the plus side, check in staff at the welcoming booth ( called welcoming center”, were friendly and helpful. And the toiletries shampoo, hand and body soap and gel and conditioner were great quality. Not sure why the bed was about 3 feet high- requiring help to get on it!

Parking a little tight. Neighbors had large vehicle. Killed a black widow on wall in kitchen. large web in bathroom window sill. Looks like a leak at base of toilet on the shower side large rusty looking spot around the anchor bolt?

At checkin, we weren’t told how to get in the room so had to go back down the hill to be told it was the last digits of our phone number. Wish we had been told of the easy way to communicate with the office to get quick answers when we checked in. However, the following day, we were texted and asked if things were ok which was a nice touch and easy way to get any needed info.

The place was very modern, clean and quiet, and provided a variety of nice extra touches, (hot water pot, coffee system, and dog basket and bed). Furniture was comfortable and outdoor seating on beautiful large deck was just right.

I didn't like that the cottage did not have beach access as promoted in the booking.com listing. It said " Beach front." It was not. Also in another promotion, It said, " With direct access to the beach, all you need is sunscreen." There was no direct access. The beach is a short drive away, but in no way was there direct access.

The premium cottage was spacious, contemporary, and very clean. The best part was the deck with gorgeous ocean views, Adirondack chairs, and a fire pit.

It could’ve used a little microwave and bigger, trash cans. It also could’ve been cleaned. A little bit more of the floors were kind of dirty under the bed was horrible. I turned on the fan and dust bunny flew everywhere from underneath the bed. Other than that it was a beautiful little cabin.

Spaces are close together so noise can be a problem. Jupes and bathrooms could use some hooks for hanging towels and clothes.

We stayed in one of the lower cabins and it was amazing. There was a big patio for us to store our paddle boards, a gas burning fire pit and the most beautiful view of Avila beach!! the cabin itself was wonderful! Very comfortable bed, with a ceiling, fan and nice shades to darken the windows. It had a great little kitchen area, and a very nice sitting area. It felt like our own little house.  We will definitely be staying here again!!

Our ocean view was more of a peek a boo side view. I was looking more at the entrance to the nuclear Diablo Canyon Power Plant. I would have requested on of the cottages above their store those looked like they had a view looking right at the beach. Overall I didn't really dislike anything though, this is a great place to stay!

I loved that I could walk to the dog beach or the pier . At night a brisk walk to the pier was so nice. There is a great place at the pier to rent paddle board or kayaks and more than one fish place to eat at. I liked that flying flags was so dog friendly with a potty station close by, trash area and their lookout which had sitting areas, and a great view to sit and relax. the staff was so nice and helpful whenever we needed additional towels or had a question. The private fire place was nice for making smores and the dog washing station after a day at the beach was perfect. I would walk to the store/bathroom area every morning to use their microwave and get hot water for my tea.

Only issue was with the mechanical locks on both the outside gate and the front door lock, they did not function properly, I did report this upon leaving to the staff.
