I wish it would be a bit cheaper but extra $150 totally worth it to save extra 30 min of drive (and crossing a park boundary which sometimes has very long queues). But I guess the price is competitve

Location! Location! Location It is inside Yosemite park. It is very private: a separate house. You have a nice deck with an excellent view of the forest The nights are very dark so it is a pleasure to stargaze! it is advertised as one bedroom but you essentially have two private places to sleep: 1. one proper bathroom 2. a loft with two beds which is private enough (not visible to anyone unless they take stairs) It was nice having two bathrooms

The upper floor is a gallery and not a room, which we didn’t notice when booking. The bed in the gallery was uncomfortable.

The place is fully equipped and beautifully decorated. We loved the dining area with the huge glass windows. The location is inside the Yosemite park.

Perfect location for exploring the park - only a short drive to the valley, glacier point and Mariposa grove. Very well presented home with everything we could have needed from pots and pans, utensils, to big fridge and freezer and washer dryer! We had an amazing experience whilst eating breakfast one morning seeing a mama bear and her cub in the log piles out the back. WiFi was provided via starlink and info provided on the agents app when checking in so don’t miss it!

The very unnecessary long door to get in. Beds very uncomfortable. Uprights on the Hand rail on stairs were to long so kept catching our fingers.

Could be a bit cleaner. Patio door was very head to open/close and I believe the handle was broken on the outside. There was no power when we arrived but we called Vacasa and the representative was very helpful. The power came on as he was checking into it and there were no further issues. Parking at the top of the driveway is a little inconvenient, but workable.

Perfect location for exploring all of the Yosemite attractions. Quiet and secluded. Home away from home to make a meal and relax after a long day of hiking.

Yes the overall conditions of the interiors might need some improvement but it's no worse than the lodges in the valley, but it's much hotter down there. The requirement of us taking out the trash is annoying though - we put the trash bag on top of the car and drove slowly for 2-3 miles to get to the bin.

It might be the low reviews I've read about this property but I thought it met most of my expectations - you have the entire house to yourself and it's very spacious. Kitchen has everything we needed. The patio is surrounded by trees and has a tree trunk going through it, which I thought was pretty cool. The lack of AC isn't a problem - it doesn't get too hot up in Yosemite West in the summer and it cools down a lot after sunset. Compared to other much more expensive properties, I thought this wasn't a bad value, especially given the space this one has.

Carpets need cleaned. Spray for small spiders. Furnace needs new thermostat. It would probably be a good investment for the property owner.

It is a large space although it is a bit tired woth old carpets etc and the shower runs out of hot water very quickly but for a few days stay it does the job well

The location of this cabin is great as it is right in the centre of Yosemite, it is very high up though so much colder than the valley floor. It has everything you need to properly cater for yourself which is needed in this area due to its remoteness.

A bit noisy heating system but this is ok if you don’t turn it on too much. Than you can not hear it. So this is not a minus of this place.

Driveway was slippery when it snowed during our checkin time. Also there is absolutely no light to show the house address, had a hard time finding it. Bathroom doesn't have an exhaust system. Mattresses were not comfortable. Trash had to be driven 7 mins away to be dumped, which is kinda insane.

View from the place is pretty nice when snow is around. Kitchen is equipped with most essentials.

Directions for parking could have been better, like a picture. Knives were dull. Utensils felt cheap. The cleanliness of a lot of the pots and pans was suspect--recommend to clean everything before using, even dining table! Zero cell service, and WiFi was very slow. One of the mattresses could be replaced. Managed by a company. Photos aren't updated, but still fairly accurate.

Exactly the space we needed and only about 40 minutes of a drive to Yosemite Valley. We went in the summer, and there is no A/C, but there were a lot of fans we could use, and the windows opened up fine. Both bathrooms worked fine. Shower was a bit cold, but there is a nice heat lamp in that bathroom. Very nice views, scenic and quiet location. Late check-in (door code). No need for key.

The heating unit in the living room is very noisy when turning on, so it may affect those who sleep in the beds on Level 2. This can be avoided using the electrical heater only (we wish such suggestions were made the first night). It is a little difficult to locate the house during our evening arrival, so better signage would be nice. The parking is quite far away (~50 meters) from the house entrance, and it is through some wooden stairs. So it took some time to unload our luggage from the car. There was a snowstorm two days before our arrival, but the snow in the passage was not cleaned well enough. There was a section (~10 meters) with snow up to our knees, adding to the difficulty of unloading luggage. Yosemite west has some sections that might require tire chain in snow conditions, so get prepared.

The house is large, and the furniture and appliances are good. We like the fireplace. The house is quite separated from other houses nearby, so it has good privacy. We like seeing the snow accumulated outside the dining room and the living room door.

Not a dislike but just take note that; there’s limited cell connection nearing the spot. So if you’re arriving late at night it could be difficult to find the exact place to go, the stairs areas is kinda dark at night too

It has everything you need to be comfortable! We stayed for 3 nights and it felt like a piece of home :’) We also saw a family of deers from the backyard while we’re having breakfast!
