The location of the bed in the Einstein was not easy to access as it was against the wall. The bathroom shelves were not wide enough to hold items. Should have wall air conditioning. It was hot!

Flooring could use a refresh. We do enjoy the fresh coffee with milk, hot water etc or small continental breakfast other places offer in the morning.

Lovely outdoor seating areas. Close to Carmel Plaza and shops at top of Ocean Ave. Cute airy cottage with picture window, vaulted ceiling and wonderful, warm gas fireplace.

There wasn't really anything about the property I didn't like. The bed was pretty tight against the wall, but it was comfy enough. As I mentioned, it's definitely not a luxury property; it was kind of like glamping.

The location is excellent - walking distance to everything, if you like to walk. It's at the top of Ocean Avenue and a nice walk through town to the beach at the end. The free parking directly next to our room was great. The room was basic but comfortable and cute -- not a luxury property, but much more affordable than the other properties in town. Like most properties in Carmel, it is dog-friendly, which is a plus. The man in the office who greeted us was SUPER nice.

Had to go to another location to get breakfast. However the location was quite charming. Out door patios with covers and gas fire pits.

Bed could be updated. A bit worn but all of the other good things here outweigh the bed.

I'm old, going upstairs to go to the bathroom is not always a good thing. Other than that, we had a great stay. Even the huge bumble bee in the windrow didn't bother us at all.

I liked how cozy and spacious it was. I also appreciated that it was close to the shopping area yet distant from the busy more crowded streets. I enjoyed the areas that you could sit and just enjoy the weather and fresh air.

The property is older and so the walls and the windows and the doors are very thin. We heard everything going on outside and in the other rooms all night long so it wasn’t very restful. I would also have preferred they have shades on the windows instead of curtains, particularly in the bathroom. It was difficult to close the curtains fully/properly to ensure privacy. The room also had a musty smell.

Location was fabulous, staff friendly and accommodating. And having assigned parking was great!

Trip hazard in parking area. Caused fall as we were leaving. Raised round area near passenger side. Other upper occupant saw it. We were in Weston room Also no check in staff.
