Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesOur first room had no blinds and they could not fix them so we had to move to another room late that night. For the inconvenience they comped our breakfast.
Gorgeous luxury boutique hotel. Excellent location, beautiful breakfast menu. Rooms spacious and well designed. Rooms have great coffee.

United StatesThe rooftop bar had been booked and we could not use it. We were planning to meet with family and friends there. It would have been great to be notified of such so alternate plans could have been made ahead of time.
The location was perfect for us!

United KingdomThis isn’t a cheap hotel and I expected car parking to be included. So you have to pay on online and request your car online (not that much of a problem. However it then asks if you can tip them every time they move your car. So that’s £30 to park plus £8 tip every time they move it. I had to pay for parking in Memphis but that was £21 a day and move it as much as you like. Also tipping in the bar requires arithmetic after you’ve had a drink. I’m going to the bar for a drink not do your paperwork. My paperwork isn’t accurate when I’m sober let alone after five beers. In this day and age surely the till can do that.
Great location right in the middle of town. Bar on roof was nice (no draught beer though). However if you want real beer there are various tap houses and bars in the area. Staff polite and helpful. The room was really nice.

United StatesFood services hours could have been later into the morning and evening hours. Hotel was full for a concert in town so the rooftop bar was full. Only one server for too many people, service was on the slow side

The location was within walking distance to the Macon City Auditorium where we went for a concert. I've stayed here before and I will definitely stay again. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

United StatesThe food and drink from the restaurant Loom was not good. My burger and bun were dry like they have been sitting out all day. The fries were not fresh and lukewarm when they arrived to my room. Usually, I would call back and have a conversation but I had worked all day and was too tired to be bothered.

United StatesIt was very expensive. Atlanta prices in Macon. Breakfast not included. Had to take two elevators if you had a luggage cart. Valet parking is inconvenient for all concerned.
Great location, great room. I could see the city from two different windows. We walked to and enjoyed the Christmas lights just around the corner. This is as close to a 5-star hotel as you will find in Macon. Unfortunately it is also at a 5-star price. Great facilities in each room, a very enjoyable stay.

United StatesIt was very clean and a nice ambiance in the room.. It was very well kept up and nicely decorated. The location was just weird. You could only reach it from a one-way street which was way overcrowded. Stuck in a traffic mess. Only parking is valet, which I'm not fond of. The parking is listed as $30 a day , which was true. Overnight parking is $45. I'm sure most people booking a room are staying overnight! We checked in late, and only their rooftop bar was open, way over priced! With about 10 seats total. $42 for a double.shot and draft beer. Free breakfast is not what you think of as a free breakfast. You are given a $15 voucher for each guest you can use at their overpriced restaurant on site. The food was very good, though! I felt like we were scammed on pricing, but the staff were very friendly and helpful.

SwitzerlandNothing we can think of, we would stay here again, if we visit Macon another time.
Nice hotel, perfectly located in the center. Room was pretty, nothing to complain about, also a nice reception, where we got a view tips about where to get dinner (we arrived rather late after our long flight and a drive from ATL to Macon). The area is highly walkable. You can use a valet - but if you don't mind walking a few steps, there's ample street parking, which is free during the night until 8am
