How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was not very clean.
Pool was great, actually warm. Perfect location for Dorney Park. Staff was very friendly.

The property was fine. I did learn a lesson with using Booking.com it’s a third party app you don’t receive a payment receipt. It’s been a week and still don’t have one? I was told we can pay cash when we check out and couldn’t do that either. Just disappointed with that.
It was clean and neat.

Rooms have been updated but are still dated; we agreed the mattress was about a 6/10. Bathroom lacked any real surface area for placing clean items while showering. No safe in the room. Friday night karaoke in the bar brings out a lot of smokers congregating by the doorway.
Convenient location in an adequate room; sufficient for overnighting and not needing to stay on the property much. Breakfast was good in the attached restaurant.

Shower pressure was very weak. Empty juice bottle on the floor and tv was on when I opened the door. I'm assuming a staff member was in their. I didn't report it because it wasn't a huge deal and it was late

There was one staff worker that was really not good at all. He’s not working there anymore. Scary man

I have mainly travelled in Europe where Sheraton are generally perceived to be a very high quality brand. This hotel was a little tired and did not really meet my expectations. The property was partly chosen because of the swimming pool and general facilities as we were in the middle of a long journey. I was somewhat concerned about the maintenance of the pool area, I don’t know if it was a chemical issue but the pool was rather cloudier than I would usually expect and the sides of the pool looked like they needed a better clean.
The property is very pleasant in a good location near the centre of Allentown. Overall though, the staff were very helpful and accommodation and it was a good-enough overnight stop.

The TV guide was messed up. The guide did not correspond to the channel selection - many channels went to FoX and Gox weather upon selection. We reported the issue but it was not resolved. The walls were very thin and the alarm and the next door room’s TV went on at 5 am and stayed on. Not very pleasant!
Property was clean, welcoming, and staff is stupendous. Great bar!

My only compliant , I guess the walls are too thin for some people ( it’s a hotel !) but our neighbors decided to beat on the wall like a mad man ( woman ) at midnight when they got back to their room. Watching tv on volume 20 was just too much for them.
Great location. Wonderful , helpful staff.

asked for room close to each other and they were not ...on same floor but one close to elevator and other down the hall...i assume that a room was empty because a alarm was going off for hours....the body wash was empty and the shampoo and conditioner that was there made you smell like a man..rooms were great beds were ok..would i go back? yes
I like that it was so close to the park which was great seeing how we traveled 3 hours away

Housekeeping did not do a good job cleaning the shower, there was lots of long hair on the shower walls and also no trash bags in the trash cans in the room.
Convenient location to Dorney Park. Free coffee in the snack bar. Restaurant in site very convenient, good service n good food.
