Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BrazilThe room I was in was carpeted, and the smell was pretty bad every time I walked in until I got used to it. The internet connection also wasn’t reliable all the time.
The room is comfortable. The lobby is nice and has a great bar. The hotel is right in front of the mall, so you can easily walk there — very convenient. The gym is excellent: well-equipped and spacious. Breakfast is also great (the coffee is actually really good) and offers several options. They even have a small grocery market and a microwave available. Staff is very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay.

United StatesCouldn’t sleep well. Room temp with thermostat unchanged, would go from hot to freezing cold all night long. Then woken up each morning at 5am and unsuccessfully trying to shut off the alarm clock that a previous guest must have set. I didn’t know people even used alarm clocks anymore.

The room was great, such a comfortable bed, good coffee. Location is close to LAX, while next to a Westfield, so ideal for some shopping. I would recommend and stay here again. Thank you

United StatesThere were only two stalls in the lobby bathrooms for the conference people and they got pretty messy and ran out of paper supplies once. The bar was closed during the day Friday and Saturday between 10-5pm so there wasn’t any coffee or lunch available until they opened it Sunday. One front desk guy was pretty rude. Otherwise everything was great.
Great location for a conference. The mall and food court are walking distance maybe 10 minutes and it’s close to the freeway. The staff was very friendly with the exception of one front desk guy. Service was great at front desk.

United StatesSpoke to manager about creating a sheet of different restaurants in 3 to 5 mile radius. Changing linens every 2 days understand due to nature disaster but could have posted signs.
Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Only thing different was they change linen in room every 2nd day. Due to fires in PACIFIC PALISADES heard tremendous sirens during night. Pool was adequate and peaceful.
