Location too close to a high traffic road

My safe wasn't working & my toilet was running when I entered my room. I called the front desk and it was taken care of immediately. The rooms hold have been in perfect shape when I arrived. Your housekeeping staffs responsibility to make sure all your rooms are in working properly before your guests arrive. Parking was not made for your handicapped patrons. There was a private party in the lower level so I was unable to access it. It was pouring all weekend and the climb up to the front doors is on a fairly steep hill for me.

I was under the impression that my room included a free breakfast however when I went down to eat and saw the food, I became a bit leary about it being free. I was unaware that I could ad it to my stay when I booked it for less than half of what I paid, which didn't make me very happy. My waffle, a few pieces of bacon, fruit & an OJ cost me $17. If I paid in advance I believe it was only $7. There were several other patrons of the hotel, who were under the same impression that I was. They started to get plates when the lovely waitress asked what they wanted to drink. They thought it was included and when told the price, walked away. Had I realized before I got my plate, I would have done so, myself. It was a beautiful set up meal and the area was nice, but to pay that much for a waffle was ridiculous!

The bed was ok, room was small (round building so the rooms are rectangular) Punic hair in the shower, stains on the blankets. For the price, we expected more. I’ve stayed at cheaper hotels for the same experiance.

The location to the civic center was what I was looking for. Every employee we encountered was extremely nice.

I always feel like this Property is so dark. The rooms, hallways etc. As a solo Traveler, it always feels a little bit scary to be in a dark place like that. Also- locks on the door don't seem very secure.

The staff is very friendly and helpful! Always cheerful and working hard. The location is great- So close to FSU campus and downtown too. The parking is pretty decent too.

The shower curtain was extremely dirty!! 😣 The internet TV for Showtime and Netflix was NOT working.😡

I wish the bar/restaurant was open a little later, but we did get in late

We lost power at home due to Hurricane Idalia, and after 5 days, we decided we needed a break. This was the only hotel that had a room available later in the day, so I was very happy to find it. I was even happier to find that the price was reasonable and it was a very clean, well kept up hotel. I am hoping to visit again under better circumstances and take advantage of the pool next time!

The fact that we had a huge palmetto bug in our room when we arrived. The staff responded in timely manner but we had to wait for the problem to be resolved which shouldn't have happened at all.

The bathtub wasn't clean enough for my wife to feel comfortable taking a bath. And we were disappointed to pay so much and not even get a small breakfast.

The location is great. The room was very comfortable and had a nice view. The staff was friendly.

Wear and tear. Have coffee available sooner for the early birds.

I would definitely stay again. Very close to FSU. Basic hotel with free parking. Nothing special. 2.5 star cleaning. Older hotel so expected wear and tear. AC noise to me is a big issue- there’s was great.
