Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe prices and fees for everything were a little over the top, but I guess that’s to be expected at a Four Seasons? Room service food was great, but very pricey for such small portions. They add a delivery fee, plus 24% service charge, so I was surprised when the girl handed me a slip to sign with a gratuity line when she delivered my food. I thought that’s what the built in 24% was for. I am not cheap and tip very well as I am a bartender, but it made me wonder what/who that 24% goes to?
The location was excellent. Staff was amazing and very professional, Jim was exceptionally helpful. The room was super clean and very nice, we loved the huge tub! Housekeeping did an excellent job servicing our room each day.

United KingdomSome of the products and services were maybe not up to the standards of the Four Seasons, in my opinion. Things like the shower, consistency of housekeeping services

United States of AmericaWhen I booked the hotel at the beginning of the year, I specifically called and discussed being on the rooftop bar to watch the fireworks. The man I spoke to never mentioned that I would also have to reserve seats at the rooftop restaurant to ensure I had a seat for the fireworks. This miscommunication completely ruined the whole reason we booked this specific hotel for July 4th. We ended up having to sit on the first floor patio with trees blocking our view of the fireworks.
The location was perfect for the July 4th fireworks. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food was delicious.

United States of AmericaPool area not up to par with other FS hotels, not as nice as rest of the hotel. Not sure what it was that made it look cheap, I am not a designer. Possibly the sunbeds or deck area? Breakfast 1 hour wait for 2 people. The wait ended up being 20 min with what seemed to be a half full restaurant. Either way, if that is common, should be disclosed to guests at check-in. I have never been told to wait 1 hour for breakfast at the hotel I am a guest at. Four Seasons or other.. Some minor miscommunications with front desk and housekeeping Value for money not up there yet (stayed at River View King). It is a brand new FS, everyone is still learning, so I bumped the overall grade up a bit. Giving a thorough review since there isn't one yet.
Nice spa/gym, standard FS lux rooms, very clean, nice design. Quick press service. Very kind, helpful and pleasant staff (valet, front desk, restaurant/bar staff). Staff the best thing about the hotel in our experience. Were able to accommodate 1-2 hours earlier check-in. Great location. The negatives section might look longer but need to say the positives outweigh the negatives

United States of AmericaAt times, I felt I was being nickeled and dimed. For example, they charged $6 for a small cup of coffee.
The rooms were nicely laid out and impeccably cleaned. The staff were very courteous and professional. The location was very good, and the food and the restaurant was exceptional... Something that you usually cannot say regarding a restaurant in a hotel. Finally, the bed was exceptionally comfortable... Now my wife wants us to buy a new mattress!!

United States of AmericaNot the same quality you would typically expect from a Four Seasons.
The staff let us down for surprise birthday decorations and champagne in the room when we first arrived. it was planned well in advance and they completely blew it.
