Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNOT ALL THE FOUR SEASON ARE THE SAME, SO PLEASE BEFORE MAKING A RESERVATION JUST TRY TO READ WHAT IN THE ABOVE AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND. FOR MY PART WILL NEVER GO ANYMORE TO FOUR SEASON WILL GO TO THE RITZ WE ARE MEMBER OR HILTON BUT this is a really bad experience.
When people booked at four season they know that they will have the best quality because its four season, the restaurant the food was so good, the cleanness of the hotel is good because they take care of each detail its four season again. But for the BED we couldnt sleep, the MATTRESS IS VERY BAD WE BARLEY SLEEP. Four season should have purple or tempura mattress, NOT THE CHEAPEST MATTRESS. Because we didnt sleep well we arrive to our massage very late and they charge us the same price for 50 minutes we barley did 10 minutes what a shame. For the checkout they just apologize they didnt offer a refund of the massage that we didnt do, or anything. If you want to sleep well go to the RITZ HOTEL OR EVENT HILTON HOTEL YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN SLEEP WELL IN A GOOD MATTRESS and good SHEET, not the cheap stuff from the market. The manager of the hotel should take care of his clients, it’s not just the cleanness of the room is the most important NO, its how you sleep and on which mattress and sheet, 500$ for a night is expensive so at least you should have the best quality of everything to make the client in good mood and feel at home.

United States of AmericaThe only downside was the room rate could have been a little less expensive but we understand that in todays economy that the rates were fair.
The Four Seaons hotel was everything that we expected it to be and more. The employees were very freindly, helpful and always available for questions or helpful ideas for dining options. The room was very spacious and the bed was one the most comfortable that we have slept on. When we come back to St. Louis, MO we will not hesitate to stay at this location again.

United States of AmericaThe hotel was lovely, but the surrounding area was a bit sketch. The “motel” next door had razor wire around the bottom and there was quite a bit of riffraff under the bridge, which was right outside the hotel. The view was interesting, lovely sunsets could be taken in from our room, but the Mississippi River is just a muddy body of water.
We stayed in a suite with views of the river. It was a spacious room, very clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was large as well, with French doors that closed it off from the rest of the room; it had both a shower with rain head and a separate soaking tub. The room had a Nespresso machine and a teakettle, which were both most welcome. We traveled to STL to celebrate my 40th birthday, and the hotel left a birthday cake, Belgium chocolates, fresh fruit and a handwritten note as a gift. That personal touch was so kind. Parking was convenient, as the garage to the casino was attached to our hotel and the casino allowed hotel guests to park on the 3rd and 4th floors complimentary. The parking garage was clean and easy to navigate.

United States of AmericaLess prestigious and pricey hotels, Inns, and Resorts have free breakfast. The only thing complimentary is coffee? until 8 AM?? That’s the worse!!! That’s insulting for the amount of money you pay to stay there. The policy seems aimed to take advantage of the perceived financial status of the consumer.
Everything was on site.
