Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We liked it so much we stayed a second night. The location is great and the entrance is also a Lake George trolley point. The manager is a great innkeeper who goes the extra distance. On our first night there was footstep noise above us (my wife is extra-noise sensitive, while I'm not) but the manager addressed it and also moved us to a one story room for the next night. This is an older motel, well worn, yet charming, clean, and comfortable, and a great place to stay at this popular resort town destination. Recommend.

The room accommodations were very large and fully furnished. The area was quiet and well maintained. One of the best things is the CDTA Trolley service turns around and goes to the village at the hotel parking lot. This allows you to leave your car and take the trolley into the village. The pool was clean and very well maintained and the chairs, tables and sun chairs were well maintained and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to persons and families.

Furnishings are outdated; some things were broken (lamp shade, towel rack), paint peeling in bathroom.
Room was clean; liked the large fridge to store food. The swimming pool was very nice and clean. Shower had good pressure.

The bed had springs that were sticking up. The linen was very thin and very damp. The room was basic and dark!!!! It was tolerable but I wish they could come up with getting rid of the dampness.

Smell of cleaning products in the room.
Perfect for a night on the road to New-York, and to visit Lake George. Our apartment was spacious. Motel persons were nice.

The water in the shower was one temperature piping hot. Could not turn the temp down. The beds were very uncomfortable
The staff owner was very sweet and kind . He upgraded me for free the first night because I booked a queen on an extra night and a king for the other two nights.

The wifi sucked
Good motel. I don't have high expectations on motels when I'm on a bike trip alone and I'm looking to get the cheapest price(which was waaay higher than i usually pay but the prices were high because of an event) but stay above the bar of acceptance I have set but is lower than most people's. It didn't suck. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot but the wifi sucked, which normally doesn't matter but I have t-mobile and their coverage sucks. The room could use minor repair, but let's face it. Most owners that take over these aging motels are trying to get as much out of it without putting too much in. It's a common business model.

I did wait a long time to make reservations for this trip for probably one of the busiest weekends in Lake George but I really feel for a small, dated and off the main strip motel that I paid too much and probably will look elsewhere next year as I do plan to return to Lake George.
The building and the surrounding parking lot and pool area was very well kept and attractive for its obvious age. The rooms were comfortable, neat, clean and the only thing I missed was a microwave. The beds were comfortable.The pillows need help.The air conditioning was excellent. The bathroom was small but clean with plentiful hot water in the shower and more than enough towels, etc for 3 days.
