    The host Kate was amazing. I loved the room. Omg the turtle theme was gorgeous. Modern, clean and feels like home.

    prices were a bit elevated due to spring break, and we were only there for a short time to sleep and catch an early flight.

    The rest of my review was cut off so placing another - The next day I checked my bank statement and saw I had a pending charge from the hotel for the entire new reservation (over $600) instead of just my deposit and valet fee. I let the host know and at that time she sent me a screenshot of the receipt that was sent to her email, since she was the one who made the new reservation for me, but the receipt had the last 4 of my card listed. On the last day of my stay the host and I met down at the front desk to see what was happening. The host tried to say that she was also charged for my room which was completely untrue. She refused to show the hotel or myself any actually proof she was charged. The hotel staff explained to her that when she made that new reservation for me that she didn’t put any payment information in so it would be charged on my card when we checked out. Both the hotel and I asked Mrs. Grant to pay the difference of the amount I had already paid in full for the room through booking.com, and the new reservation amount and then I could get a refund through booking.com. Mrs. Grant was unbelievably rude to not only me but the hotel staff when we were trying to explain to her that she was not charged and she should take accountability as the host and person responsible for the 2nd reservation. She stormed off and refused to help in anyway. I then spent another 30 minutes with the hotel staff getting all the evidence together so I could dispute my charge for the room I never got to use. At this point I had paid in full through booking.com and a second even larger charge at the hotel. I spent over a month talking to different agents through booking and several supervisors to explain my situation. The host first told them the AC in her room wasn’t working so she had to make another reservation for me directly through the hotel. Then all of a sudden she started claiming that I, for some reason, made the 2nd reservation on my own which makes no sense.

    If this individual's name shows up for a reservation for your suite deny her because she is a scammer. Miss Pitt had a reservation through booking and then showed up at the hotel and made an entire reservation of her own and asked me to pay for it. I have never had a disagreement with any of my guests and this individual was extremely combative and reeked of alcohol and marijuana. I am actually relieved that she was not able to get into my suite. I had to walk away from her. Her mouth is fowl and she is disrespectful beyond belief. I am actually to reading any of what she has posted because I am trying to forget her completely. No one will ever find any of my guest stating that they have ever had an issue with me. My guest always comes first. Miss Pitt is an expert at scamming. I offered Miss Pitt the full amount of what booking had paid me and she said no. She wants me to pay for the reservation that she made on her own with the hotel. Well I have 2 children I am responsible for and she is neither of them. I do not have the energy for Miss Pitts falsehood and I know that in this business there is always going to be that 1. Well she is it. Miss Pitt actually told booking that I was rude not knowing that I had recorded the entire incident. I am never disrespectful to anyone. There are many ways to conduct yourself without resorting to such. My records and reviews on all forums speaks for itself. I just need Miss Pitt to be conscientious with the things she does in life and to whom she does it to. I am a decent individual she might not be lucky doing the scamming with the other.

    No where was it stated that the property was only valet parking. That was an extra fee incurred that was not expected

    The obscene amount of turtles that they use to decorate the room is quite disturbing. Will never think of a turtle a just a sea creature again.

    Unorganized

    I booked the unit the day of and nobody could find my booking even tho my money was already deducted from my account.

    Hi Adriana, It clearly states on my platform here at booking.com that I cannot accommodate last minute bookings. The hotel requires 24 hours notice. Booking did not take your funds they only place a hold on the required amount and they did release it back. Thank you
