Lack of security to building. This hotel is on the outskirts of town. No key card was required to enter the building. The hallway to my room was outside, like a catwalk. There was no one at the desk late in the night. Having that coupled with the lack of security into the building left me feeling quite vulnerable. Additionally, housekeeping turned EVERY light off in my room, leaving me to enter in the total dark. I discussed my concerns with the front desk and told them this was enough of an issue to prevent me from booking there again.

My room was spacious clean, linens were clean and stain-free, bed was comfortable, pillows excellent.

Lobby locked and no coffee for quite a while in the morning. When I woke up before dawn, I needed a place to sit outside my room that I was sharing; the lobby was locked until past 6 am; I don’t know when the lobby finally opened. With so much square footage, it would be nice to have a place to sit while the lobby is locked up.

The rims are clean but the surroundings of the hotel could be cleaner and better maintained. Lift doors and inside dirty, corridors old and need of fresh paint etc…the property is well located but there is room for enhancement let’s say

Breakfast was great. Room was very nice. Excellent view of the lake. Not the hotels fault but it was hazy outside so we couldn’t see the lake and surrounding area very well that day. Location wasn’t great but that was my fault for not knowing where I was going to be going. Hotel did great.

Our room was very cold (we stayed in mid-March) but the heater was so loud that couldn't have it on all night. The breakfast was way below our expectation, during our 2 weeks road trip we stayed in 14 different hotels of which 5-6 were Best Westerns, all of them were providing good breakfast but this one. There was pretty much nothing to eat and no grab&go breakfast option either (probably as there was nothing to grab).

For some reason my keys stopped working. I had to leave my adult kids with our shopping packages at the door while I went to have the keys redone. It was very cold outside.

The price: #16 for two people, one night.. Shocking and I would have passed on it had there been any others available.

Breakfast was good. Eating space clean and orderly, items replaced quickly when emptied. Location was good but it was a surprise when we passed the property on Hwy 395 as our GPS indicated that it was off the road. A quick turn around and a turn off the road got us there right away. Liked being able to walk to dinner at the lodge. Great food at a reasonable cost. Would be better if there was safer trail down the hill into the trailer park. Lady at the front desk was exceptionally helpful. The Tamarack Fire had just started, our grandchildren and great grandchildren who we were visiting had been evacuated hours before and we called the desk to get a status update. The front desk lady wasn't aware of the fire or the evacuations but said she knew who to call. she did and got us accurate, up to date information in just a matter of moments. a couple of days after our stay the fire got to within a mile or so of the motel. Thank God!

I go to a hotel to sleep and my room did not have black out curtains. The parking lot lights lit up my room all night, and I had difficulty sleeping. The sheets and pillowcases were also very scratchy.

The stuff was very unprofessional. The man and the women at the front desk in the morning of 07/16/23 have no idea how to be at least polite. I went for my breakfast and found no egg scramble and he said there will be no more egg scramble at 9am though the breakfast should go till 9.30 pm. Didn’t even bother to say “ sorry about that “ Later i returned the key cards to check out and the woman took it and didn’t even smile/ say thank you or even greeted in anyway. I asked for a cup to get more coffee as the cups were finished. She took a long time to replace the cups and didn’t even say she re stocked the cups. These two people should understand hotel stuff need to be hospitable and at least learn very basic way of greeting people. learn some values of this country and peoples don’t make the hotel environment like in rural india.
