Fantastic location right in the center of village. Rooms were very nice, we had a river view and you could hear the running water and sit on the deck. Attached restaurant was convenient and food and beverages were great! Live music at night was a bonus and very good.

I had to last minute cancel because the hotel does not have air conditioned rooms and wildfire smoke penetrated the town. Upon arrival I suffered an allergic reaction. No refund available. They did let me come for the "included breakfast"

Be very wary of the way this hotel have worded their info about parking. They do NOT have a parking space available for every room. And then, if you're able to find a space, after you've parked in their underground garage they tell you there's a charge of $70 PER NIGHT to park there. I checked back on the booking info I received in advance and it simply says "Please note that parking is only provided for 1 vehicle per room and is available on a first-come/first-serve basis." There is no suggestion of there being a huge charge.

Clean and comfortable room. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The continental breakfast was very good.

There is no air conditioning. Fans were available but not adequate during the hot days of summer.

We had a king size room with a balcony overlooking the river. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was provided every morning in the hotel restaurant had great food. There was live music nightly at the bar. The hotel was in walking distance of anything we wanted to see and do.

It was not stated on bookings that it would cost us $70 a day to park our car.

Very warm and welcoming atmosphere and great hospitality. Staff in both the hotel and restaurant were exceptional. Always helpful and friendly.

Our hotel room could use brighter light bulbs, a microwave, and a mini fridge. We had beverages and food in our hotel room that we would’ve loved to keep fresh.

The location is lovely. The hotel history is interesting.

One thing I definitely did not like was the coffee at breakfast. I realise there is a certain charm and character about this place, but it is outdated. The table and desk chairs in our room are so thin when you sit down your bum falls down into the seat frame. For a hotel that was nearly empty, somehow we got stuck with room directly above the AC fans and next to the trash and recycle pickup which happens every morning at 8 am sharp. It has been loud and disruptive. The bathroom, for such a large room, is so small you can hardly turn around. We extended our stay by 1 night, 2x. The last night our booking, which was made at the front desk, was not completed. So when we arrived back from a day out we could not get into our room. Not a big deal, go downstairs and have the key card updated. Nope! Then we were told we did not have a booking at all. Instead of just saying let me sort this for you now. Instead, the reservationist made a 30 minute ordeal over finding the booking. My husband finally said enough you need to move this along now, my wife is waiting at the room in a very hot hallway upstairs. We had 2 rooms and this happened with both. They offered a 10% discount. For only 1 night. A whopping $22.00. Keep in mind, parking here is $70.00 p/nt. I’ve not even mentioned that out of 4 nights we have not been given clean sheets. I know because I got some dirt on the top sheet and it’s still there and we leave tomorrow. When they have cleaned our room they literally have thrown the towels up on the top shelf. There has been nothing neat or well respected about what we walk into after cleaning.
