Toilet flush kept getting stuck on. Garden looked unkept.

The entrance from the highway was not well marked, no address was visible from the road. The location of which lockbox and door code to use, was so buried in the instructions… it was deemed useless by the time I checked in. The whole house was extremely warm. Uncomfortably warm. I got in late from a delayed flight and pretty much used the bed to sweat and lay down for 8 hours. I couldn’t fall asleep with the HOT temps of that house. The pillows and bed were comfy.

THE PARKING SITUATION NEEDS IMPROVEMENT AS FAR AS DRAINAGE IS CONCERNED. WITH ALL THE RAIN WHILE I WAS THERE I HAD TO WALK THROUGH BIG AREAS OF WATER COVERING THE CIRCULAR PART OF DRIVE.

The upstairs is creeky and some of the doors are sticky, I felt like I had to tiptoe around to not disturb the other guests and you could hear everything between the walls

The name next to the door of the facility says "Grandma's House" or the like, but nothing about "Glacier Guest Rooms", leading me to think I was at the wrong door. Change the name on the internet, or change it on the sign next to the door, but don't leave it for the customer to figure out in the pouring rain. Very little shelter from the rain while trying to determine what to do. Chest freezer with mold and old food in a fairly deep layer of water; very bad mildew smell awaiting any who might open it with expectations of putting their ice cream in. No freezer compartment in the otherwise wonderful refrigerator forced me to eat two days worth of ice cream immediately. Some guests didn't wash their own dishes and just left them for other guests to do for them. There should at least be a daily visit from someone to do a quick clean up, especially in light of the ridiculous "cleaning charge" on top of the room charges. The price should include any cleaning charges rather than suggesting that the price is about $50 for a night rather than the $100 or so that it actually costs. Hidden charges are always unwelcome.

It was quiet, with lots of places to walk around and enjoy the scenery. It was also very clean and completely comfortable. Such a beautiful little place!

The room was not clean when we came to check-in. The whole house needed clean up, including the kitchen. Apparently, the cleaner didn’t know about guests checking in that day. I texted Kelli about the status of the room and she rudely texted me that I should have contacted the cleaner before checking in instead of her calling the cleaner. I found this totally absurd. After a while the cleaner came in and she told us that Kelli didn’t inform her about any checkins. And that she doesn’t have any access to the booking app. The poor lady apologized and cleaned the whole house till 10pm, which obviously disturbed our sleep. We got glacier room and the queen bed headboard was very lose from the main frame, and every time we changed our sleeping position, it made a loud noise. The toilet flush had issues. I was surprised to see instead of fixing the toilet flush, Kelli had put a note near the handle saying its an old one, sometimes doesn’t work, jiggle a few times. I didn’t pay to jiggle the toilet flush. This is one of the basic amenities that Kelli should have invested in. Our experience was overall very bad.

The window crank was broken so window was difficult to open. Headboard not secured to wall or bed frame. Every time one moved the headboard slapped against the wall. Older home - wooden steps - very loud when someone came in late. Handle on kitchen faucet loose. Upstairs toilet ran every second slush or so. A mirror in the room would have been helpful and more clothes hangers would have been nice.

Pretty content, Wish I could stay longer.

Pleasant joy staying here. Near grocery stores making it a great location, house was comfortable with enough heat to contrast the sub 30 degrees outside. Kitchen was fully stocked up with housewares. Loved the homey feeling . Great price, this is the place to go in Juneau!! Happy with the owners communication, she cares about property and her guest.

Everything was great

We liked the location to the glacier. Bus stop right on door step which was very convenient. Shared facilities made it easy to interact with other travellers. Fabulous kitchen. Easy to contact owner.

When I arrived I just realized my door is not closing properly so I ask them if it would be possible to move to another free room which there were many of those. They directly denied it and told me I have to pay a cleaning fee if I go to another room. They're just begging for 5 stars but don't do any guest service for it.

The room was very unclean. The blankets/pillows on the bed seemed like they hadn't been washed, the rug on the floor was covered in dirt, and the shared bathroom was covered in hair. The whole house is somewhat run down and honestly quite creepy. This is one of the cheaper options in Juneau, so I appreciate the option of having something on the more affordable side, but the whole experience could have been better.

The location was great and close the the airpot and ferry terminal which made uber or lyft an easy option to get there. Check-in process was easy with a lockbox and code provided by the hosts before arrival.
