Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI Guess I goofed. I thought I was renting a cabin. I was suprised when we got a hotel room. My wife hated it. It looked acceptable to me. Great location to both ends of the park.
The location was ok. The front door was just off the road and there was a train not far out back.

United States of AmericaIt is situated between a railroad track and a major road so if you’re a light sleeper it’s not for you. Trains come by on a regular basis and trucks using jake brakes are loud. There isn’t an air conditioner so you may have to open windows which does not help with noise level.
It was close to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. They did have a good cafe on site. Owners were pleasant. We like the chickens roaming around. It’s really not a bad place to stay especially for the price.

Very well priced for Glacier National Park. Very much appreciated the flexibility too. The Chinese restaurant on site had very tasty food too.

United States of AmericaWalls are thin between you and neighbors.
Between both sides of park but it was much closer to West (20 miles) than East (35 miles) so we had to drive a lot because we spend more time East. Cafe on-site and Wi-Fi were both helpful.

United States of AmericaNo breakfast opportunity at this place. Located right on Highway 2 with a well-used freight rail track behind, so noisy for a light sleeper. The rate was steep; however, we were "near" West Glacier, and we reserved the last available room.
An old facility nicely updated and clean. I like the sound of trains, and there is no disappointment at this place. Dinner meal was adequate if one likes Chinese food or hamburgers and fries. Coffee in the room was nice.

United States of AmericaThe wifi was spotty but luckily we were in the park more than the house so it wasn’t a huge deal for us.
The Family Cottage was so spacious and lovely. Fully stocked with everything my friend and I needed, including two full bathrooms! We were on a cross country road trip and this was a great stop for 2 night. There was a large kitchen and washer/dryer!

United States of AmericaThe rain when we were there, if Glacier Haven Inn can do something about the rain that would be good. We were ok with trains somewhere nearby and being on highway 2, traffic does died down early, we were there early September.
We didn’t know they were typically closed Monday. So we rode motorcycles in the rain to West Glacier for dinner. Then we didn’t know they were closed Tuesday night because of the Labor Day holiday, owner opened for us and we greatly appreciated it.

United States of AmericaRoom was very small (low ceiling -- 7 ft). The current owner, who is trying hard to develop and improve the property, can't do anything about that. The property is ~20 miles SE of Glacier Nat. Park entrance and was the closest place we could find to stay while visiting the park in August. I realize that these days, hotel/motel owners charge what they can get away with, but in any rational world, the one-night at this property should have been about half of what we had to pay.
Breakfast was not offered, but the property does have a restaurant where we were able to eat dinner (food was good).

United States of AmericaWe own a camper very similar to this model, which allowed us to know more about our stay. For example - we knew how to turn the hot water heater on. Other customers may not know things like this. The camper is sandwiched between a highway and train tracks. This disrupted our sleep a little.
We stayed in the family bungalow - which is a camper. There was plenty of room for our family. There is a tv with access to Netflix, etc. After a long day of traveling, this was perfect for our family.
