I don't like the b.s. it took to make this reservation. I wanted to cancel after initial contact because I found a better price. There is no legitimate way to contact booking and change info. I don't think I'll be using it in the future

Wonderful and quaint! Clean and spacious rooms with lovely views of Beloit. Everything is walkable and we enjoyed our stay! Go to a Beloit Sky Carp Game! It was fun and also a great value! Lucy's Smash Burgers are GREAT!

Everything was fine and as expected. Dinner was excellent. The roof top atmosphere and bartender made drinks by scratch. A wide selection of beverages. Strongly recommended. Will go back !

Beautiful and clean rooms, excellent staff and service, they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We chose to this hotel for our honeymoon stay and they pulled out all the stops for us! We got coupons for the restaurant so we ordered room service which was prompt and the food was amazing! Truly felt spoiled staying here and we could not get over how lux the room was! Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Can’t turn off the ac but can open windows — very unsustainable, plastic straws and plastic ware, water cups are plastic and could easily be paper, then bathroom was very strange- open to the sleeping area, with a gap between wall and shower, no recycle bin, only trash. The breakfast should be in the dining room not in the hallway.

Beautiful hotel, great location to Beloit college campus, nice bed, clean room, well serviced, wonderful dining facility and delicious food.

The location was fantastic and very convenient. We loved to be able to play vinil album in our room. The beds where comfortable and the shower was great. Everything was just perfect, thank you.

the hotel was amazing the decor and everything but they could do better with the breakfast and room housekeeping. I paid 800$ for 3 nights with breakfast included and the only thing breakfast had was fruits pastries and cups of oatmeal. I was disappointed in that because other hotels I stayed less money they had a full continental breakfast. Also during all my stay at the hotel housekeeping did not clean the room not even once. we ran out of toiletries that we had to ask the front desk for. other thank that I loved the hotel and how modern it was.

I like a nice lobby to hangout in or a place to have my coffee. This hotel had two tables for 2 people each in the lobby area but not super cozy. Didn't like the call to our room asking when we plan on checking out, after we asked for a late checkout and we were granted half an hour. Not all staff were welcoming.

Cool old building, decor was interesting, room very comfortable, bed excellent, bathroom well appointed with excellent walk-in shower. Generally had the feel of a place that’s well-run, well taken care of, and where the owners/managers/staff sweat the details — down to having a pad of paper and pen by the phone, an increasing rarity, sadly. Nice bar on top floor with an outdoor space that would be great in warmer weather

I would have appreciated being notified that the roof top had an event planned when I made our reservation as we were really looking forward to enjoying the roof top bar and we did not have tickets. The record player didn’t work and staff tried to fix it but couldn’t! It had no volume and what it had was very tinny.

This was our second stay at the Goodwin Hotel. We had stayed 4 years ago when it first opened and the restaurant had still to open we returned as wanted to see what it was like now. When we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed yet again as it was Labor Day Monday, not only that the but bar was also closed for the same reason. The hotel was booked a month in advance and we had no prior notification that the bars and restaurant would not be available and were extremely disappointed. The room was also advertised as having a ‘private entrance’ when in fact it was just another room on floor 3. We did visit the rooftop bar on our visit for a look, even though there was no service and wished we hadn’t as the carpet needed a good vacuuming and behind the bar were peeled oranges in an open glass. ( Obviously the rinds being used for cocktails). Overall a very disappointing stay, we won’t make the same mistake again.
