Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesIt took a while for the air conditioning units to cool down the condo. The sun heats up the patio and it radiates into the unit making it rather warm. We kept curtains drawn when away to minimize the heat.
The view was spectacular, beautiful sunsets and short walk to the beach. The condo was clean and all amenities and supplies necessary. Especially liked all the beach equipment. It came in really handy. There were many special touches that made this the perfect stay

Step away from the shore. Very nice and quiet location. I made a mistake during my reservation, but the owner was very understanding. Was very satisfied and will stay in this apartment in the future.

United StatesSome items in the condo were dated. The coffee maker needs to be updated to a K-cup style, the screen door needs adjusting so it doesn't slam shut on you, and the refrigerator handle is cracked. Also, we stayed 9 days, but were only given one small bar of soap.
The view was fantastic.

It was loaded with all the gear, from beach chairs and umbrellas, pickle ball, to snorkeling. Walk to the beautiful beach and ate on the patio. Very nice. All cooking gear. Close to restaurants and grocery stores.

United StatesThe bedsheets and towels were not clean. Bed smelled like sweat and body odor. Towels in the bathroom had brown smears. Bathroom did smell like vomit upon arrival but maybe because the toilet had not been used for a long time?

United StatesI loved walking the beach, easily accessed by walking across the grass. Saw a sea turtle up close on the beach. Yoga class met close by on the grass. Sunsets were amazing from my patio. Parking my car was easy and free. I volunteered at several places with the intention of helping Mauians recover from the 8/08/23 fires. All good!

United StatesThe property was advertised as a "gorgeous beachfront condo." We had not been to Maui previously and didn't know one part of Kihei from another. The property is in northern Kihei in an area that is known for older condos and industrial areas. The "beachfront" is a significant walk across a grassy field and turned out to be a rocky beach with brown water. The good snorkeling and activity beaches in the area are further south, towards central and southern Kihei and Wailea. There was very little to do within walking distance of the unit and we drove to all of our activities. Unfortunately the place is pretty dated, the floors were not clean, and we found little bugs throughout the unit, even though we kept no food at the unit and constantly took out the trash. The screen door has a mind of its own and will loudly slam closed if you don't gently close it each time. There is one tiny bar of hand soap in the bathroom for however long you're there. I understand it's only supposed to last a day or so, but for $450 per night, I think having adequate soap and shampoo is a fairly basic expectation. The exhaust fan in the bathroom is on its last leg and sounds like it may die at any time. There is no key for the front door. You unlock it with the last four digits of your phone number, which was shared in the informative email from the property management company. What was not shared was how to lock the door. It's just pressing a simple button from the outside, but we didn't know and had to ask someone. So there's no front door key — which some may view as a convenience — and your have to baby the screen door. Mind you, our stay wasn't unpleasant. At the end of the day, we were in a condo on Maui just a stone's throw from the beach. The issue we had came from missed expectations. We got married on our trip and this was also our honeymoon.
The hosts have a manual of rules, guidance, acrivities, etc. that is helpful for getting oriented. There's a designated parking space for the unit. The bed was relatively comfortable and the drive to Wailea and the nicer parts of Kihei wasn't too far. The window air conditioner and fan worked well and kept the place cool.
