There were too many chairs out. Reduces the charm of the beach. We stayed here a number of years ago,and you had fewer chairs.

Bathroom cleanliness wasn't any better than a cheap hotel/motel. 1st room had mildew on bathtub and shower curtain had spots on it that should have been laundered. 2nd room had mold/mildew in shower and the door to patio would not lock.

Location was wonderful, of course.

The breakfast was disappointing. Instead of a hot meal or a breakfast buffet, you had to order the night before and it was delivered to your room. In theory, that sounds convenient, but in practice the food was extremely low quality. Everything we received could have been purchased at a gas station mini mart. I would have been embarrassed to serve it.

The location was perfect—right on the beach at East Bay in Traverse City. We loved being able to walk straight from the hotel to the sand and enjoy the water without ever needing to drive. It made the whole stay feel easy and relaxing.

People in the room next door were smoking. Marijuana and regular smoking. It drifted over to our balcony. Grand Beach did try and stop it . However, the patrons keep going. At one point, Guest was on speaker phone and asked by caller if she could smoke? Which was responded with Shhh!

Our ice machine in our building wasn’t working.

I loved everything about this location! The staff was AMAZING! The room was great! The view was beautiful! All around perfect choice!!

Only complaint that we had was leaving the parking area, not the resorts fault in any way it was more due to the increased traffic of the cherry festival.

The room was very clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly! Private beach overlooking grand traverse bay was beautiful and the sunsets from the balcony just made it more remarkable.

A little frustrating with the price of room fluctuating so much depending on the week you go. I really miss the pre pandemic days of a lovely, full breakfast (Belgium waffles!😍 eggs, etc.!) that you could eat in a sit down area with tables and chairs!! Many years of great memories between here and Sugar Beach resort that had that great breakfast and space! Sure wish the powers that be would reinstate that!!

Great Location, staff friendly, anything you need for a stay was there; if not, just ask and they will do their best to provide. Prices reasonable and boxed breakfast genius, right portions and gave us a great start to our day.

Sky and her team were awesome.We're very friendly there all the young workers. I really liked how they text me.It was easy to ask questions!!!
