Villa was a bit run down. A lot of cobwebs at the entrance. We were told that villas were next to each other but there was another villa between ours and the residents in the other villa played loud music until 1:30-2:00am.

Well appointed. Staff were responsive and helpful. I liked being able to text with concierge/front desk. Loved the pool and hot tub. Playground was a bit hit with the grandkids. There were a lot of amenities that we didn't have time to use.

Was very disappointed that both golf courses were closed to the guests. The whole point of choosing a golf resort was to spend some time playing golf.

The late afternoon DJ music was too loud for the size of the crowd at the pool. There wasn't very many people, so it would have been nice if that was toned down a bit.

I had requested to be close to the pool, which they were able to accommodate my request, and the room was in the building closest to the pool, so that was perfect. I also was able to get an early check in. The earlier you arrive, the better your chances of getting early check in, but if not they have a locker room and bathrooms in the indoor pool area. There is only one bathroom stall in the ladies room, but there is a larger bathroom in the lobby area. That is a bit of a walk from the pool, but doable. The hot tub was the perfect temperature, and they had plenty of towels available, along with very attentive servers to bring you drinks, food etc.

Curt receptionist on Tuesday. The cleaner took the fuzzy bathroom rug on the second day and a the rain it was cold. The kind plate of fruit and cheese looked like it was from the prior day— dried up. We threw it away. The sign said live music at 7 in the lobby on Monday, so we didn’t go to town. But there was none. Must have been an old sign.

We had an incident where my girlfriend accidentally left her white blazer on the bed. The blazer was the same color as the bed sheets so we didn’t realize we left it. When my girlfriend went to the front desk to check to see if they had her blazer, they were extremely rude to her. They were gossiping in front of her face and laughing at her. It was extremely unprofessional and for the price of the hotel unacceptable customer service.

The hotel was very pretty and the room was very nice.

The resort was great and all around fun place. Wish we did few more days here. Definitely will do that in the future. The food, the staff, the room, and definitely the location.

Bed was comfortable. Clean room. What I didn't like was the server brought my chicken sandwich out to me. Touched my bun and served the dish to me with his bare hands. Yikes!

- For this level of “top end” resort, no bathrobes and slippers provided. In the rooms. Also Felt the spa treatments were very over priced for the amenities and services provided. Not a top end spa. Spa staff were courteous but didn’t provide a quick overview of the facilities like most high end resorts. Ran out of drink cups and didn’t replenish. The spa facilities were very small and not quiet and peaceful at all. But they also add on automatic 20% gratuity and then “ask” if we want to change it, which I thought was sneaky.

Rooms were very clean and updated. Property is well maintained.

Price can be steep, especially in the Italian restraunt. We may have to reconsider that next time. My son was offered to add protein to his pasta dish and his steak add on was as much as my husband's meal! Together pasta with steak - $90. That just shouldn't be. Deserts and drinks were on par.

I loved that I was greeted by friendly faces offering samples of chocolates with smiles. I loved the winterfest activities, particularly the fireworks in January! The remodeled rooms are great and property clean. We will be back!

My only complaint was our last day. On check out day housekeeping came to our room a little after 7am and again before 9am. When they came to our room, the first time we said we are checking out today. The second time they came to our door, we just said, we will be right out since clearly they wanted to get our room flipped. We had intended on a slow morning, checking out, and visiting somewhere for lunch. However with the push from housekeeping we checked out by 9am and hit the road.

The grounds were beautiful, staff was friendly, and they had a live piano bar each evening of our staff.

Initially we were given an older 2 bedroom villa which had both bedrooms on the first floor and kitchen + living room on the top floor. The layout was nothing like what is advertise on the property's website. We were able to switch to the newer layout with one bedroom on first floor and 2nd on the 2nd floor, since we had elderly parents with us. It was very hard for them to climb stairs. I felt the property as a whole was beautiful and well maintained, but the room is overpriced and value isn't quite there.
