The shower heads need to be adjustable. Not good for tall people. Ice needs to be available on every floor.A lot of walking for Handicapped Also the restaurants… Need more of them on property with food variety. Stores need to have longer hours.

Very clean and staff friendly. The golf course and pool areas very nicely manicured and clean. The coffee shop staff friendly and accommodating.

When we first checked in they gave us a old room with a full size bed, nothing like I booked or the pictures. I did ask to be moved to a king size bed so my husband and I both could fit in the bed. They did move us after asking.

Lots of things to do especially if you have kids.

NO ELEVATOR! And no warning about no elevator at The Shores. Every time we left and came back my 80 year old mother had to climb 3 flights of stairs. Also, I wouldn't recommend The Shores for honeymooners. Apparently the walls are very thin.

The room and the view from the shores was great. Clean, big enough, tv, kitchen, everything we needed.

All of the staff was friendly except the front desk staff. They could have been more helpful with our questions. It was odd that we could hear everything going on in the room next to us. We were in a corner room that was connected to two other rooms (which we weren't aware would be the case). We could hear the tv (at a normal volume) from the connecting room. We've never experienced that before.

The room was a great size, clean, and comfortable. The amenities were everything we hoped for. The location was perfect for where we wanted to visit.

Smaller bathroom was a bit cramped. It's a big place so a bit of a walk from room to your car in the lot.

Lovely facility. Clean and comfortable room. Good selection of tv channels. Fairly quiet. Great staff wherever you were on property. Price was fair. Restaurant for breakfast was good. You're 15-20 minutes off season to downtown Traverse City.

The scene at the hotel was chaotic and kids were running around everywhere. Even on the fourth floor we could hear kids running around and yelling from our room until at least 11:30 PM. Also the pool was far away from the rooms and we had to walk in front of a lot of people to get too and from the pool, even through an event for the lions game.

The hotel was very clean and hot lots of amenities to offer. The room was recently renovated. The outdoor hot tubs were nice to get away from all the kids in the pools.

The outdoor pool closed at 6. We were told 9 when we checked in. It was 85 out!!! The directions to the private beach weren’t clear, we ended up not finding it and went to a public beach!

We checked in late at around 10pm and the lady at the front desk was not friendly. We had no idea where anything was in the hotel. If it wasn't for the concierge we would not have found anything. Also several things were broken in our room and the bathroom wasn't very clean, I had to clean up hair from the floor. With as much as we paid it would have been nice to get a cup of coffee.

Concierge and doorman was very nice and helpful. The stores were nice too. Shuttle service was great. The pool we went to was nice.

No maid service at the condo at the Shores. Wish they would have someone come by once during the week for trash, towels, and to clean the bathroom.

Setting and amenities were amazing. Spa and golf exceeded expectations. Food was good and the kids enjoyed the pools and arcade.

I didn't get a warm welcome or any information upon check-in. I couldn't even get a map of the property. I found out the last day of our stay that there was a private beach. I also had to call for towels, toilet paper etc. because the rooms are only cleaned every 3 days!

Beautiful hotel with a great size room. Outdoor pool and food was great too.
