Some things needed maintenance (screen door). Bed was uncomfortable.

Beautiful location. Very clean. Cute little rental.

They need to update. It states it sleeps four, but the couch bed needs to be replaced. It's impossible to sleep in. More bedding is needed, and the old needs to be replaced. When the storm popped up, the table and chairs outside went flying along with the bottom of the drain spout. Picked it all up after the storm, so something more stable would be a plus. We have been going there since 2019, and it is the same furniture. The shower inside needs new faucets, they stick. The smoke alarm went off at 4 a.m., so maybe a new one is needed. The chair in the bedroom is missing the straps, and you can fall right through. We love the area, and the cottage has wonderful bones. The tile is wonderful, and the kitchen is well equipped. The fridge gets things cold fast, and the changing room is a plus. Overall, it was a great place to stay. Just needs some tweaking and love. A little more cleanliness. I never complain, but the owners need to be aware of what needs to be updated. You can not list it as sleeping four when the couch can hardly sleep one, let alone two. Thank you for passing this along. It is right in between Beulah and Frankfort, which is a plus. Sleeping Bear and Traverse City. They have a gem. So please update. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

The access to the lake is amazing. Always enjoy being able to just walk out to the dock and water. The fire pit was new and fun to use. The shower outside saves, keeping the sand outside.
