Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaSome areas to focus on include Buckets bar and grill - almost fully automated but still very clunky with a confused staff. It took me 35 minutes to get two drinks and chips/nacho cheese and it wasn't very busy when I arrived. It got busier because of the poor execution later. It was confused chaos behind that counter with seemingly no leadership. Even when I went to the counter to get my order, was notified via text it was ready, it wasn't ready and the woman literally asked me what I had ordered. Huh? Also, the towel check-in and check-out process needs some attention, slow with long lines. That could use a re-set. I still believe we will come back but with lesser expectations we we will be avoiding Buckets. It is good to see resorts like yours busy again, cheers to that
All in all it was mostly what we expected and was satisfactory and the room worked out well. The place has a fun theme and it was busy so good for you. A little more care could be put to cleaning up the pool area, if felt like there was no one clearing tables and resetting furniture so it made for a more hectic experience and wasn't terribly accommodating. The service in the downstairs restaurant was great and they allowed us in 15 min ahead of closing which we appreciated.

United States of AmericaThe rooms seem out dated. Not sure if the shower was stained or if it was meant to have marks. Ultimately for the cost i would have liked to have housekeeping make the beds our second night.
Location was great! Visited MOA.

United States of AmericaSome of the staff did not look like they wanted to be there. I was served wine Sat night in the restaurant without being carded (Im 39). The next morning for brunch I was, which I didn't have bc I hadn't been carrying my purse around as there was no need. When I said that, he quoted policy. I'm not upset for the policy, the lack of consistency enforcing it. Service was very slow both times in restaurant. I had ordered a glass of wine before we were done eating and it didnt get out to me until we were ready for check. Took a long time for initial drinks (and pop for kids). .
It's nice there are multiple attractions to keep the family entertained.

United States of AmericaI would have liked to have had one more sit down restaurant option that was more fancy casual. I would have liked to see a Starbucks or Caribou coffee added. I'm sorry, but Dunkin Donuts coffee really tastes terrible. A curtain dividing the bunk beds from the adult bed goes a long way for parents to enjoy each others company without prying eyes getting more than they bargained for.
I liked the location, and the ease of getting on and off the interstate. I liked the many activities that were offered to the kids for entertainment. The staff were great even when they were tired. I liked the room size, amenities, and cleanliness.

United States of AmericaCost of stay was very expensive. We paid to go to a nice Waterpark, and brought older kids with. Unfortunately, the pool was only open from 10am - 8pm. Not much time to use the Waterpark. We ended up staying in our room for the evening both Friday and Saturday night watching TV because there was nothing else to do.
Clean, well-staffed. Staff was friendly.

United States of AmericaThe pizza From Hungry Like a Wolf was overpriced, greasy, and the crust was like cardboard...flavor and texture wise. There were maybe 3 staff that were smiley and friendly and seemed to like their jobs, which surprised me at a family/kid based place. We used booking.com which ended up costing us a lot more than it should have. It books 4 adults regardless of how you enter the reservation. When I noticed on our email confirmation, I called Great Wolf Lodge right away. She explained to me that is how booking.com works and we would have to pay for two additional wristbands. It cost us $700 to stay for two nights because of this. I do not recommend using booking.com for this until they get their base occupancy to match Great Wolf Lodge room occupancy. We stayed at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells for 3 nights that has complete kitchen, living room, Den, 2 bedrooms, and tons more space and options as a resort, for the same has two nights at Great Wolf. Yikes. The food from Buckets Craveables was awful. Cold, flavorless cheese curds, fries, and chicken tenders. The fruit box was the only good food, but had some smashed pineapple chunks, under ripe melon, and some was frozen. We ordered 4 boxes, 2 one day and 2 the next and had the same experience both times. The veggies and ranch was ridiculous...frozen, dried out carrots and celery and the tomatoes were even slightly frozen. We didnt dare spend more $ on food and chose to eat at the MOA the next day since it's so close.
The room was clean and fit our family of 7 well. The King bed and bedding/pillows were quite comfy. The kids liked the bunk beds, but the brown blankets on them are very small and scratchy they said. The teens slept on the couch instead of the pull out, so can't rate that, but we did have to request pillows and a blanket for that. The room was quiet and spacious. The mini fridge wasnt very cold, but wasn't the worst thing ever. The bathrooms were both clean, spacious, and well-stocked. We had fun at the water park, but I expected more play options for our toddler in the zero depth area who doesn't like water slides and water spraying on him. (In my opinion, this wouldn't be a fun water play option for children with sensory concerns since every single slide has a waterfall or spray at the top, even the tiny ones.) The lazy river with my family was a highlight, but sometimes the traffic was high and unsafe. Perhaps less available tubes at a time would be helpful to keep the flow less crowded and less abandoned tubes blocking the way? The big kids loved the big slides, plenty to do for them even with a couple unavailable options due to staffing shortages.

United States of AmericaIt took 30+ minutes to get Dunkin Donuts, or ice cream! We stood in line only one time for Dunkin, and 1 time for ice cream. It wasn’t worth the price or the long wait for either.

United States of AmericaWe thought the room would be a little bigger. I thought the Bunkbeds would be in an adjacent room and not together with the queen bed. For the price it was fair.
I liked the variety they have for the kids too play in the water park. They also have story time for the kids and other activities. Very close to the Mall of America There's enough elevators, because when the water park closes there alot of people trying to get back to their rooms. They also have a Dunkin Donuts and Ben and Jerry's on sight! A convenient shop and a Build a Bear shoppe are also located there.
