How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The house cleaning service can improve. Sometimes, they left stuff out of place, or it looked like they didn't clean some areas. Although the breakfast was good, there were some expired yogurts and milk; the kitchen should be more cautious.
They have everything you need for a business trip: breakfast, a jacuzzi to relax, a gym, good wifi, it's quiet and comfortable. My room had some problems, but the personnel solved them immediately.

The room was old and outdated. The carpet had a very bad stench, which made the room smell like feet. The toilet was not bolted to the floor. There were baby roaches in the bathroom dead on the floor. The tub had a hole in it, and they tried to use Bondo or something to seal the tub that did not work. The toilet leaked water. My father fell off of the toilet twice. It rocked because it was not bolted down. As well as there were no handicapped rooms available at the time to suffice for us. So he fell in the shower twice. The HIG, or the owners could do better to satisfy their guests. The staff can only do so much. Upon leaving the printer did not work so the attendant could not print my recipt.
The staff was very friendly Andre the Manager was very professional and his services where impeccable. The kitchen attendant was very sweet as well.

This must be one of the early holiday inns. Getting very tired and is need of a full renovation. e.g. the shower mixer faucet had a missing handle, making it very difficult to operate. Maintenance man said that was how it would stay🤦
Liked the location, being very close to where we needed to be in Boca Raton.

There was a party going on around the pool very late into the am. I didn't like having to put 50.00 on my card for miscellaneous purchases.
The location was perfect for us as we were visiting our granddaughter at FAU. We had dinner by the pool and the female bar manager was an Excellent host.

The room was a little dirty. Bathroom was not as nice as it should be for the price paid. There were cracks in the tub. The floor was dirty. There were no batteries for the safe in the room.
The location was great. I did not have breakfast there.

There were no TV channels. And a standing lamp wasn't working by the door.

There was a noise next door intermittently not sure if it was the AC. I did not like that the hotel rooms were facing outside, gave me a motel vibe. Someone left the back gate prompted open one day, I told the front desk. He said he would address it. Not safe to leave a door open.
The front desk employees were great, very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and the size was nice. Beds were very comfortable, I have stayed at many hotels and this was one of the best beds experiences.

The company hire staff but forget to educate them. The staff is nice, but in the reception they havn't received the training that is required to deal with the booking system. It'ds not the staffs wrongdoing, it's a lloack from the company. The staff was nice and tried to be helpful.
