Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The original room the AC didn't work and we had to wait over an hour for another room. I was disappointed that we had to move from the 1st level to the 2nd level since my husband has a bad knee and had to climb all those stairs. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay
I loved the location. The room was very clean and bed were super comfy

There was a valance type board over the curtains that didn't come down far enough so too much light came into the room. The pool was out of order.
Nice walk in shower. Bed was comfortable and air conditioner worked great.

No elevators make it difficult to carry luggage up and down the stairs.
I enjoyed the location. The location was near a few fishing spots. The traffic in was good.

They were remodeling while I was there so there was a lot of mess and noise.
It’s close to the beach. The rooms are cute.

Filthy windows which were so caked in salt that I could draw on them, feel of a slightly worn off season hotel. Noisy air conditioning.
This is very good value for money so if you are expecting breakfast and something very fancy, this is not for you. But it was clean enough, had air conditioning (bring earplugs though), beds were fine and you get what you pay for. We were off season but if you are a 20 year old on Spring Break you will love this place! Blackbeards on the beach 5 minutes walk. Lovely friendly staff.

The bed was horrible..lumpy and very uncomfortable. No breakfast facilities close. Housekeeping didnt empty trash for two days. Very few TV channels available.
The room was clean and updated. It had a great view of the water. Convient to everything in North Beach. Staff was very friendly.

The first day when we came, the room was not ready, and I book a king's size beds. They quickly relocated us to a different room with a queen size bed. They didn't offer any discounts, since I am almost sure it cost more a king size bed than a queen size bed. The access is very limited due no elevator for elderly and people with disabilities.
The hotel is located very close to the beach, and it is a walking distance. The room was okay, nothing special. I am glad they had a fridge and a microwave.

A/C unit leaked all over the floor. The employee unplugged it, plugged it back in, and said if it happened again, call him. The unit made loud noises all night and left a larger puddle on the floor. We paid for a place to sleep and could not get any rest.
Location is great and the rooms are clean. Good deal for the price.

Exhaust fan in nice 2 vanity bath wasn't working. Freezer in fridge needed thawed. No free breakfast.
We loved the DeVille 😍 Easy to get to & to great Corpus family owned restaurants. Plus short walking distance to the grand Lexington. Margaritaville ( had great menu & coctails)& nice beach. All safe & very friendly staff. Free, secured covered pkg too.

Site is low, wet and still so, mosquitoes were horrible
Location was excellent for us as were visiting the USS Lexington. Room was above expectations, staff were helpful and friendly. Bathroom was clean, roomy and shower was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Room was small and hard to manuver around. If the chair was pulled out from the desk to watch TV no one oould walk to the other side of the room. Had to cross from top of bed. Not for persons with any walking disabilities. All rooms are 2nd and 3rd floor with no elevator. Floors were not cleaned (mopped) sand on the floor and if you bathe and walked to the bed dirt accumulated under your feet. Had to set a towel to wipe my feet off before I got into the bed when I used the restroom. But not bad for the price and area. Used this hotel before and most likely use book again.
The area is great away from shoreline but by the beach and entertainment nearby right on the beach.

The staff was not in the office and took a long time all 3 times I went. It was expensive for the size and quality of the room.
