The air conditioner in the wall didn’t cool the air - it was very old and noisy so we just used the fans. The back windows were extremely hard to open (one was not able to be opened) to generate the cross ventilation we needed. For $695 per night you should not have these issues. Take your own pillows as they were large.

Fabulous view and location. Block away was a decent sized supermarket with all the groceries you need. Note that the apartment is on the top floor of three floors up steps. The bedroom is also part of the entryway so there is no privacy from the rest of the apartment. Comfy king bed.

Nothing at all

The location right on uncrowded South Kehei beach is superb. The grounds and surrounding area are very well maintained by Johnny who is a gem. The property is on the third floor, so getting your luggage up two flights of stairs can be hard work if, like us you are island hopping for 30 days. Everything was clean and the condo is well equipped. Walking along the beach each morning was divine and watching the sun set every evening was an amazing bonus.

AC unit is a little dated. Can use a new one. The rest was great. One more thing and it might be great to discuss with building reps...too many homeless people around....they didn't harass us but somewhat felt uneasy at times.

Loved the location of the place. Especially on the beach and around so many great places to eat. Sunsets were amazing

Having to pay for laundry facilities. The bedroom was a little warm the air conditioner didn't reach back there. Trival things, nothing bad at all.

Not really anything. The only downside I can think of was the going up three flight of stairs with a suitcase was a pain.

Love hearing the waves crashing on the beach. Nice to have a balcony overlooking the ocean. Everything worked perfectly with no issues. Great water pressure

I mentioned stuff above…. all kind of minor considering it had a full kitchen and a view to die for…. but I do wish there was enough toilet paper to last the full 8 days I was there!! I had to buy toilet paper and the smallest package I could find was 12 rolls! so I basically furnished the next several guests with toilet paper! Guests should not have to buy TP!

I loved pretty much everything about it. it was older than I pictured so things like the drain in the bathroom sink didn’t have a stopper, and there was hard water buildup around the faucets and shower head. Just needed to be cleaned better I think, but all in all the condo was nice. the sofa could be replaced. it’s not that comfy. definitely needs new throw pillows. The bed pillows need replacing too. the extra pillows in the closet were all stained and gross. I didn’t touch those. it sounds like I didn’t like it but I really did! It’s just little things that I thought would be better quality and nicer weren’t. the view of the ocean made up for everything. That sunset view every night was magical. Free parking and wifi also a huge plus!

There is not much wardrobe space. This could be helped by 3 cheap "hanging" shelves you can get for a couple of bucks, e.g. at IKEA to hang inside the wardrobe so that there is more space for folded up clothes rather than only space for coat hangers. You are probably fine with just two people as there is also a chest of drawers. But once you are more people, it gets tight. It definitely needs a new air dryer for wet laundry/beach stuff.

The location is great. We had a car, so were driving to many places we wanted to see. But even without a car this is a great place, superb views over the ocean. The beds were comfortable (also the sofa bed). Some of the interior is dated but still overall excellent value for money.
