Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumThe only thing that bothered me is the plastic utensils, cups, and plates used for the breakfast. Not everything is recyclable, which contributes to a bunch of waste while they could just as easily provide real cutlery. I feel this hotel can do a bit more for the environment.
The room is big and contains everything a business traveler may need (even ironing tools). Furthermore, the staff is extremely friendly, and the hotel has other advantages such as the complementary breakfast or the gym room.

United States of AmericaIf you're someone that wants to enjoy laying down and watching TV in the room, I highly recommend bringing a fire stick with you. Their TV channels are terrible. I was very disappointed that as update as a hotel was, is there a TV did not have any stream services or it didn't have any movie channels. Some hotels will stay, give you all the channels as part of the room deal however, this hotel did not. So if enjoy watching TV from time to time we are just in the room highly recommend a fire stick or a Roku stick. That is probably my biggest and only complaint about this hotel.
One thing that I really loved about the hotel, was its location. The location of the hotel is directly along King Street which has majority of the restaurants and venue that you can visit when we travel. We were right next to the metro station, so we were able to take the trolley up and down King Street to visit restaurants or to go to the waterfront. The breakfast was okay it was your standard couple of hot meal options and of course cereal and coffee. The room size was okay, but for a suite I was expecting a little bit more room, but overall it was your standard size room. The bed was comfortable, and the room did look clean, and I could definitely tell the room was non-smoking

United States of AmericaParking is a bit narrow in the parking garage and it was like $20 per day. Not too bad in price but wished it was included in the stay. Ice machine on our floor was not working.
Staff was nice, breakfast was good and rooms were decent/clean.

United States of AmericaThe complimentary breakfast.
This hotel location was in a very quiet, clean area nearby banks, diners, restaurants, and metro. The complimentary breakfast was not for me, because of the limited choices. However several of my friends enjoyed it. Housekeeping had to be requested. But I did like that bottled water was free. Overall, the hotel was clean and affordable

United States of AmericaI expected better recommendations for a "healthy choices" restaurant from the check-in staff. She just referred me to the sandwich shop across the street.
The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great, steps from the metro into Washington DC. I didn't have to deal with DC traffic and that's always a bonus.

United States of AmericaWe stayed multiple days and were told at check-in that there would be no room service during our stay unless we requested it. That was fine with us, but when we requested clean towels, a form needed to be filled out at the desk. It felt as if the request was an inconvenience for the staff. There was also a fan in the bathroom that ran constantly and was a little loud.
The room was clean and the location was close to Reagan National Airport as well as the Metro stop. There was also a trolley stop right outside the hotel for getting up and down King Street which was important for us as we were there for a wedding with several different event venues in the area.

United States of AmericaWe didn’t find our bed and pillows very comfortable. We have queen at home so we are used to smaller bed but their beds felt smaller then queen. Would have liked to see some vegan options for breakfast, such as non dairy milk and non dairy cream cheese.
Great location. Trolley stop right outside the hotel doors. Subway station about 5 minutes walk and Whole Foods few blocks away. Friendly, helpful staff and clean rooms.

United States of AmericaThe elevator was very slow, old and creaky. There was a tub/shower combination and the tub was so small and rounded it was hard to stand and shower, felt very cramped. The bed was comfortable but seemed a bit old and creaky as well. It was nice having the free breakfast, but many of the egg dishes felt warmed-over. The ice-makers were out of order on every floor except the lobby, but there were no signs to tell us this until I had tried several floors.
Comfortable, secure hotel with refrigerator and microwave in the room. Free hot coffee all day in the lobby, and a great location in Old Town, Alexandria near the Metro. Loved the extra towels and coffee-maker in the room. They also provided free bottles of water, which was great.
