We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesI booked Ada room , my husband is wheelchair bound , cannot walk at all, asked for 1 st floor, was told that it was filled , even though I booked way in advance and was told it was ok,if there was a fire I would I'd be stranded, no way to get him out of hotel being on 4th floor,and the floor was under construction and the room was dated for !98.00 a nite!

Reported this to staff but wasn’t even offered a “sorry you had a bad experience”, so not the best response from a customer service standpoint. “Upgraded” from my original booking to a handicapped accessible first floor room next to a remote outside entrance. Felt very uncomfortable about security as a solo traveler. Disappointing stay.

United StatesThe ice machine on our floor was broken. There was a hole in the floor by the end of one of beds and they had just carpeted over it. Our foot dropped down into it when we stepped there. The beds weren't comfortable, pillows were uncomfortable too. The 3rd day of our stay, we woke up to ants all over our room. We hadnt been eating in there or leaving any foot out. The front desk said they would send someone in to take care of it while we were out, since they were sold out, but when we returned nothing had been done and they were even worse. They were getting in around the window. We had to check out and find another hotel for our last night. We have never had this much trouble with Hampton and we usually choose them, however, we may need to change that if this is how they are being taken care of now.
