Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesOnline had said there was a pool. There is no pool. Our room faced a loud busy street on a Saturday night so we heard A LOT of street noise.
The location was very convenient and the staff made everything easy.

United StatesParking situation was not good. The hotel parking lot is tiny and, by my estimation, could hardly accommodate a 1/3 of the hotel guests. I would argue that, given the location, most people who stay there are driving themselves. I had to park my brand new car on the street and I couldn't sleep at all because I kept imagining it being vandalized or someone crashing into it (they said this part of town was safe but I ran into a few sketchy situations as I was walking into the hotel.)
Clean and well maintained building even though I could tell it was older

United StatesThe exterior and lobby were wonderful, but the rest of the hotel was disappointingly generic. We think it was a major missed opportunity, the decor could have echoed the '20s style and been a real knockout but it just looked like any other hotel. We chose to pay twice the cost of Motel 6 because we wanted a better experience, but the room really wasn't much different at all. Very disappointing.
We loved the '20s architecture of the outside of the building and the lobby, and also the breakfast was amazing!

United StatesThe fact that after I had already booked the room, that's when I was told about parking. I probably would've still booked the room. But it was a surprise that you had to park a block away. It wasn't posted on the main page.

United StatesBetter coffee in room. For the price, the room was comfy, but the 6th floor location had street noise. It was challenging to mask this - had to run a/c fan all night to do so. Compensation was being so close to walkable parts of downtown.
Breakfast was good, but in room coffee was terrible - little pot with slide in tray of coffee. Room had several lights that needed bulb replacement. Reported to desk and was told housekeeping doesn't have time to report these things. Curtain needed repair.

United StatesParking Garage involves quite a walk as there is no direct access to the hotel. We parked on the street which involved some risk as the neighborhood is full of street racers who like to drag race from the stop light out in front of the building.

United StatesI didn’t love that. It was right in a city parking was hard. We had a transit van that didn’t fit in the garage. I didn’t know there was no pool or hot tub. I understand this is a city location. And the town was beautiful.
I wanted to share that the receptionist was incredible. She had such a great hospital personality. I do not remember her name, but she just had a grandbaby and was wearing a walking boot. She Was stressed and very busy but handled it very well.

United StatesWe arrived at 1030pm to check in after our play. The internet was down. I understand that it wasn't their fault but we along with 3 other people waited for 45min in the lobby before they began manually checking us into our rooms. It was inconvenient and we were tired. We were told that once the internet was back up they would slide our room keys under our door. We woke up to no keys. We went down to breakfast then had to go and ask for keys to get back into our room. They apologized but we felt like some sort of discount would have been nice for the inconvenience.
The breakfast was great. The cheese omelets and pumpkin spice waffles were delicious. Great assortment of foods.
