Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The tablets and printer were not working so we could not print boardings passes for our flight home. Rather inconvenient.
The breakfast was nice. The location was convenient to the East Side plus north suburbs. The afternoon young woman at the front desk was very helpful.

Rooms could be cleaner. Found a lot of soap scum/mold in the shower. The breakfast was not replenished enough and most of the food was gone quickly and not restocked
Rooms were comfortable, the staff was excellent. Our first night our neighbors were very noisy but the night manager was excellent and handled the noise and addressed the issue. The coffee was good in the mornings

The desk was poorly staffed. Often there was no one there and just a phone number was left. When I called the number, several times, no one answered. And I did not appreciate the 'incidentals' fee when there was nothing incidental to charge. I did appreciate it being removed shortly after check out.
I liked the room and the location. The style of the property was up-to-date.

There did not appear to be any bins for recycling in the hotel at all.

Only when I stopped in early and was told I wasn't in the reservation list. I was thankful I had my cellphone available with my confirmation number. I was told my room would be given away if I didn't check in by 3:00. I came in after my day and evening activities and was glad my room was still availble.
I was happy that my room was available after my reunion at Concordia Milwaukee (50th 1972). I had everything I needed including a refrigerator to keep my water bottle cold.

Night staff reassigned our two room locations to adhere to our request plus provided a pack and play for our toddlers. Nice breakfast. Good pool and work out room.

I requested an adjoining rooms for kids to have bonding with their cousins but they gave us rooms that were far from each other and even different floors so, it did not serve its purpose of booking there. if they can’t grant my request at least tell us in advance.

The reservation system via Marriott - tried to use reward points -Marriott cancelled my reservation 1 day before my travel date staying I didn't redeem my points .I was never informed about redeeming points also I would have appreciated a email; before cancelling not after .Bad system where they assume the customer knows their manual procedure .Points should be redeemed automatically .I lost the ability to redeem and getting 3 nights via my points .

Too much noise. It often sounded like a tractor-trailer was stopped directly beneath the window, and I was awakened repeatedly by loud noises that seemed to be from within the walls (building plumbing system maybe?).

Directions about the tv. Had to pay for hulu or other extras yourself. No one explained that i would be charged more until the room was inspected after checking out. Being close ti hwy ...trucks going by were noisy.
The location was easy to find. I liked the nice big shower. Bathroom was modern and clean.

The heat in our room didn’t work, blowing cold air, no tv remote then also realized that the tv wasn’t hooked up. After waiting 45 min for someone to look into the heat issue we ended up asking for a new room so we could go to bed without freezing. unfortunately, they only had rooms with king beds left so my daughter and I had to share.
