How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The pillows were very thin the bathroom shower water was cold the breakfast was very good but the staff that prepared that bacon needs lessons on cooking it was hard and burnt and very greasy

The whole hotel seemed to be in a remodeling and renovation stage. Floors were dirty, elevators half open to the ceiling and dirty floors everywhere. Workers were hammering and banging around at check in time and we were assured they would be stopping soon. Luckily that was the case. On our way out the next morning I asked for a receipt to be emailed to my stated email and the lady said sure but it's been a few days and I've received nothing. Checked my credit card and it shows a pending charge $50 more than I was expecting. Not much of a hotel room for $210 a night. Won't stay there again.
The breakfast was ok. The room was ok and the hotel is in a great location.

I paid extra for a whirlpool tub and it was new in 1990 but 30 years later it should not be an up charge. Disappointed in that. Bathroom had zero exhaust and made everything wet. Would not stay there again given that.
Breakfast was clean and great - best part of stay. And the front desk girls were also very nice!

The room could use a deep cleaning. Carpet was sticky and pillows were trash. There was no clean up service so we had to track down new pillows and some TP, but the staff was kind. We ended up having to leave early and there was no problem with that.
Staff was so nice. Had snacks out for folks attending the music festival. So sweet!

I wish there had been a small table in the room in order to place my laptop and to eat on but there was not and did not receive any clean towels are trash taken out or bed made on the 2nd day I was there. Price seemed a bit high.
The staff was great very courteous and helpful. the AC in the room was fantastic. Room was clean.

The bathroom was not clean. There was hair on surfaces ect. The staff doesn’t make an effort to clean the room daily. My room was straightened up once the whole time I was there. Other than that the hostess was friendly and helpful. Over all it’s not a bad stay just wish there was a little more attention to detail. Especially when paying $700 for a stay .

Room had a weird smell. Bathroom had lots of mildew in the tub/shower. Beds were really uncomfortable.
Breakfast was good. Staff was really friendly. Room was cleaned nicely when we came back from tournament.

No toilet paper in bathroom. Blood stains and very dirty chair and foot stool. One very tiny trash can in bathroom and none in the bedroom. Pool door would not open to hotel and had to walk to front door to get in. Shower Curtin was too short and water just ran out onto floor.
Worker preparing and serving breakfast was very good. She worked her butt off trying to keep food ready to eat.

Received the wrong type of room, not what I booked. Was corrected on the second day. I had to check out & remove all my stuff from the room & take it back down to the lobby before they could book the correct room. I got help but it was an inconvenience. I think they could have figured out an easier way. AC went out in the lobby but was fixed. People were sweating bullets trying to eat breakfast. Booked 3 people in the room but they always brought towels for 2 people. It’s kind of annoying to get back to the room late & have to get more towels. We couldn’t use a luggage cart because none were available both times I needed one. I don’t remember seeing any but my husband was told they had two but were being used.
