Two things: The first room I was given was UNINHABITABLE. Second floor - it was literally disgusting. I am sure that would have been offline if it weren't for the eclipse. Thankfully, another room was available. I dropped a room before the booking deadline and was charged an additional $100 for the room I kept. I want to dispute that. That was NOT part of the booking contract. I emailed the manager but did not receive a reply.

The room we stayed in was quite nice. Very roomy and clean. The staff was very friendly even though it was PACKED for the eclipse.

The bed was a little firm for my taste, but it was comfortable, and the pillows collapse to easily. The hotel is located near a retention pond where geese habitat so there were droppings in the parking lot and entry way. I would suggest power washing the walk way consistently.

The hotel is currently under remodeling so the hallways need some finishing work but this did not take away from the quality of the room. I liked that I could stream from my phone to the TV.

The beds sagged at the sides. The floor were dirty. Qtips and water bottle under the couch. Dirt on floor. The pool area was not nice. The air was cold in the pool area due to construction on building.

The hallway floors were full of spots. Some of the furniture and carpets in the room were stained as well. As I mentioned, we had a suite room. The bedroom was a bit hot. The air conditioning did not reach into the bedroom area to cool it properly.

The bed was very comfortable. We had a suite room, so the size was nice. We enjoyed spending time in the pool. It was very clean and clean towels were available. Housekeeping came in to provide new towels while we were out even though the signs in the room said due to covid housekeeping would not be in. It was nice to have the clean towels.

The hotel was a little dated. Could use some paint and the room wasn't as well lit as I am use to at home with several daylight bulbs. Also my 2 and four year were quick to point out that a couple of windows that you could see from the hotel pool were cracked a a ceiling tile in the pool looked like it was about to fall.

My kids and I enjoyed the hot breakfast and pool. The room was a great size for the kids to play and run around a little. The staff were very friendly and helpful!

The cleaning standards are in need of improvement. For the price paid, the rooms should be clean. It was we identified that the beds had clean sheets, but that was the extent of cleanliness. The sign in the bathroom stated that rooms would, “Refresh Daily” by housekeeping, though the trash was never emptied. There was popcorn under the desk on the floor, so it was evident that this area was overlooked when the room was undergoing cleaning. The drain in the shower would back up after 30 seconds, causing the tub to fill above the ankles while showering. Liquid Plumber or a snake to the drain is needed. Housekeeping should’ve noticed this when cleaning as the tub will not drain properly during cleaning either, unless the showers aren’t getting a proper clean with water and cleaning solution. AC units could also use a good cleaning as they’re a bit musty.

Breakfast was as expected for this booking. The front desk staff were always kind and helpful as well as kitchen staff.

Our bed was very uncomfortable one of the worst beds I've stayed in and Hampton in. The overhead light in the bathroom did not work. Needs to be updated.
