They misplaced my reservation for the second day and marked the cost of second day.

The included breakfast options exceeded my expectations with excellent choices from yogurt, good scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, etc. The location was convenient to the highway and the staff was pleasant.

While there is a beach area, it was much smaller than I imagined based on descriptions and photos! However lounge chairs and the ability to catch sunset was nice. But more than one umbrella on a single table around the pool would have been a welcome addition and encouraged me to enjoy it...without the umbrella...the heat was just too miserable!!

The hotel is not in good shape, carpet in the room extremely dirty, air-conditioning noisy, no ventilation in the bathroom, furniture worn out.

The beach and beachside facilities were great. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, very customer oriented.

No down sides.

Excellent Tiki bar with friendly bar staff. Nice to sit by the lagoon. Well located to get anywhere in Key Largo area.

Tired - felt like a 90s motel. Urgent need of a refurb. Corridors and reception area are very legacy. Insufficient pool and beach chairs / beds.

Receptionist was very helpful ptofessional and interested in meetig all our needs. breakfeast was good

Stunning location, clean

Maintenance wasn't great

I loved the little beach area with the cabana to order drinks. Kids could fish on one side, and you could snorkel or just go in the water on the other.

I not like carpets, they hold too many smells. The other Hampton Inn does not have rugs and I feel it is easier to breathe in cleaner air.

Nothing went well

Everything could have been better. To start with, the property looks very sketchy as you drive up. It just looks dirty and uninviting. That was our first concern. Second, we asked for connecting rooms so our family (parents and children) could all be together. I'm not sure who decided that rooms that were simply close together (not connecting) would be ok, because that isn't what I asked for, nor was it ok. (I didn't find this out until we checked in.) The rooms were way too expensive for us to not get what we asked for (and I certainly booked far enough in advance). We went on to the rooms to see if we could make it work; however, one of the rooms smelled horrible like wet, musty cigarettes (probably the old carpet) and was actually connected to another room (not our second room). We went to the front desk to tell them the rooms weren't going to work, and the receptionist said no other rooms were available. She also said that we would not be getting our money back. She said she had been working there several years (I believe she said 7) and that she knew we would not be given a refund. (The unfriendliness was unnecessary.) We immediately left to see if another property down the road could accommodate us. Fortunately, the Holiday Inn had connecting rooms available at a much better price, and the rooms didn't smell bad!

We loved the beach and the breakfast. We also enjoyed our room and the pool view. The facilities were clean and well maintained.

The pool was like a hot tub, day and night. We spoke to the facilities guy and he said that they leave the pool heater on and no one pays attention to it. It was no refreshing to get into after being out in the south Florida heat. At night it literally felt like a hot tub. Our toilet in our room was clogged. Anytime we would use it, it would backup. Maintenance came to fix it the first time but it continued to happen. We had to use the bathroom downstairs.

Better than expected, beautiful surroundings with a pool and small beach. The breakfast is better than most hotels in this category, and the rooms are perfectly fine. Greetings from Amsterdam, Netherlands.
