Parking was an additional fee each day, which I felt was excessive for a Hampton Inn.

Located primely near medical facilities in downtown Tucson, but also near a Starbucks, Panera Bread, and Metro Light Rail. Ice machine on each floor. Spacious rooms with a decent sized fridge.

    A Needed Stay For Us

The main thing we don't like, is that all of a sudden they started requiring parking payment. It's about $10/day. We stay here while getting to an appointment at Barrow Neurological Institute, which is a 2-hour drive from our home. The hotel rate itself isn't a bargain, but this parking fee now just adds to the pain.

For an included hotel breakfast, they have a fabulous selection. Usually well-made scrambled eggs, home fries & some type of breakfast meat. Plus assorted muffins, bagels, waffle-maker, oatmeal & more.

A little expensive for a basic hotel. Should have opted for a nicer place; would have paid the same.

Super close to destination in midtown phoenix! Clean enough, staff okay, basic breakfast, met needs.

The breakfast has a lot of options. The one thing that wasn't so good is whoever makes the scrambled eggs needs to discover the best way to make them. They were in almost micro-pieces, which wouldn't even stay on a fork. When I scooped them up to put on my plate, half of them spilled off that spoon - onto the counter & the floor. This consistency comes from constant whipping type of stirring as they're cooking. They should be folded easily as they set, until done.

Nice room, comfortable bed with great pillows. Responded nicely to one request I had, which they satisfied. Very convenient location to Barrow Institute.

When we checked in, the lobby was in the process of being painted. Improvements were a welcome surprise.

We've stayed here several times in the past couple of months. We've reviewed the hotel each time. It was looking a little worse for wear, but this time, the pool was finished and refilled, and it was being freshened up. We expect a better experience next time.

I didn't like having to pay for parking and breakfast was not good. Also some of the rooms on our floor were being painted and the fumes were very strong We had to open the window in our room to get rid of the smell.

The friendly staff, availability of all the amenities, and the room was great.

Happy With This Pick for Phx Downtown Stay

Should be proactive for keeping cups for a.m. coffee/tea stocked. Each morning when arriving for breakfast, they were gone & we had to ask for restocking. It immediately was done, but we shouldn't have to ask in the morning, when everyone is going for their morning caffeine lift! Also the parking fee, although guess that wasn't too bad since it was downtown Phoenix, where I believe that's typical.

Breakfast was good, above average for the included types with motel rooms. Pillows were comfy, bed was comfortable too. Hotel staff was friendly & helpful. Responsive to needs of the moment quickly. Location was perfect for our needs of the moment. Exactly next to the Barrow Institute.
