    The pool was closed and according to the hotel, they have asked Booking.com to post this information. Not having a pool was a big disappointment.

    The staff was very nice. The location was convenient.

    Breakfast was good. Location was easily accessible from Canada and to mist areas I. Pt Huron we traveled to. I've been staying with you every year I come to shop for at least the last 10 years.great

    Very outdated and old We rented the conference room and the chairs were all ripped badly Most of the rooms were musty All were old and dingy

    Staff at check in was very rude. Pool and hot tub closed indefinitely wasn't told until after paying. Pool and hot tub were our only reason for booking this hotel. Bathroom light was out we had a tiny night light for our bathroom.

    There were no downsides, it was a very typical Hampton Inn.

    Location was good as it was close to my family. I did not get to have the breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

    Carpet was dirty, facilities were dirty, furniture was old and dusty. Place smelled like cigarettes.

    Ample free parking. Fresh ice water available in the lobby for free. Desk was manned at all times. Was at least one restaurant and one convenience store within walking distance.

    it wasn’t clean. we spilled some water in bathroom and grabbed a towel to wipe it up and the floor was dirty so towel was really dirty. And the fact they don’t do daily cleaning and empty garbage and gather up wet towels is disgusting . Our carpet didn’t look clean either

    Took 4 rooms to get a bed without hair in it It was clear by the dirty blanket that hskp is remaking beds that appear unused Rooms have an old/smoke in the walls smell Hot tub out of order Floors are not vacuumed

    Lobby was clean and inviting. John greeted us with a smile. He handled finding us a clean room professionally and without an attitude.

    The pool was disgusting, there were bugs all in the pool. The hot tub wasn’t working, the rooms were dirty and had broken electrical outlets

    The dirty sticky thing on the shower curtain was pretty gross. The shampoo bottle attached to the wall was empty and we had to call the reception. Pretty clear the bathroom is not taken care of by the team. The receptionist didn't seem to take it seriously whilst I would say if I were her "I'm coming right up" and I had to ask if I needed to come to the reception and get a new bottle. She says "Either way works. You can do as you wish." ... Didn't see the hospitality nor apology.

    Breakfast was as expected for a Hampton Inn.

    I recently had a terrible experience with the Hamptons Inn in Sarnia, Michigan. I was planning a long weekend trip with my family to Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, but mistakenly booked a room at this hotel in Michigan instead. When I realized my mistake, I immediately contacted the hotel to see if they could help me transfer my reservation to a Canadian location. Unfortunately, their customer service was absolutely appalling. Despite my repeated attempts to explain the situation, the staff were unhelpful and dismissive. They offered no solutions or assistance, leaving me completely stranded. I ended up paying for a room I couldn't use and received no compensation or alternative options. The lack of empathy and basic customer service skills was astonishing. This experience has left a very negative impression on me. I strongly advise anyone considering staying at the Hamptons Inn in Sarnia, Michigan to think twice. The way they handle their customers' issues is unacceptable, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I did.
