How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was very clean, and comfortable. The person who checked us is was exceptionally pleasant and welcoming. The staff at breakfast were helpful, friendly and really seemed to enjoy making everyone happy and comfortable.

The faucet on the tub was broken and we had a hard time turning on water for showers. We did report it but it was not resolved before we left.

I didn't like that booking uses a virtual credit card to check into most of its partner hotels. As a result, when they run the $1.00 charge for incidentals (if you decide to steal things) it won't match the card that was used at check in which will delay your check in process. NOT A PROBLEM WITH THIS HOTEL BUT MORE SO WITH BOOKING****
Stayed here before, never had an issue and I don't intend there ever being one. Everything was clean, food was great, wasn't overpopulated AND it's in a great location. Definitely an affordable rate as well. When/if you or your family travels to that area of PA, I would pick here over the other nearby hotels.

The pillows were pretty uncomfortable, and the whirlpool repair (you could tell because all the primary jets were not working at all) was not adequate, timer was not connected, etc, you obviously know there is an unaddressed problem with this.
The front staff was very friendly. The room was clean, basic but clean with a good number of towels.

Everyone was friendly and happy except 1 miserable worker. I heard multiple people complaining about the daylight front desk woman who hates her job. She was also very rude to myself and a elderly couple that i witnessed. Most of the place looks nice and his been updated. The area was very safe the only complaint I have is the place really needed a deep clean. Especially the pool area and the carpet in our room/bathtub

Remote/TV Didn’t work
We stopped here on the road back from the Midwest to NY- good for a night’s stay on the road. Pool was fun for the kids and the restaurant across the parking lot was convenient. TV remote didn’t work and staff offered to help but couldn’t get it working. They offered to switch rooms but wasn’t worth the hassle of packing up and moving. overall good experience!

Beds were not comfortable and a little noisy. Could have vacuumed better. The left side elevator definitely needs maintenance - loud and shakey.
Front desk people were great and breakfast was just enough to fill our bellies.

Very clean, comfortable and modern facility. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The toilet in our room was broken when we arrived (running continuously). We had to leave for an appointment. when we returned it had been repaired. We would definitely stay there again.
