Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The free breakfast was just OK. The bread was not fresh (I do not mean out-of-the-oven fresh). One of the cereals was labeled as a major brand, but it was NOT (I know the difference between the brand and a generic).

Shower doors would not stay closed, breakfast was mediocre Sausage tasteless, oatmeal dried out, waffles good but had to wait too long. Tables were filthy.

Could have spaced out guests further. Breakfast area understaffed. Only one person working was too much.

staff was very helpful and accommodating to my unexpected needs.
staff was very friendly and very helpful when complications occurred, like when my lock failed and they had to get manager to work on it. They did get me in after 30-45 minutes. However, this lock failure caused me increased stress due to delaying my access to my room making me late to my corporate function that evening.

Often only one person on front desk staff, so frequently no one available there. When they were available they were very nice and attentive to our needs. I also liked that we could communicate by text.
Breakfast was good, as hotel breakfasts go.

The staff upon our arrival were not personable or that helpful. It was 4:30pm but our room was not available for check in. The hotel overall needed cleaning.
The location was right where we needed to be to attend a family reunion.

Beds were firmer than usual.
Room was clean and all accommodations were met. The front hotel staff was absolutely incredible. We were out of shampoo, but they were quick to fix this.

On this visit I was here M-F but never had a housekeeping visit. On Wednesday I was working from the room so I had the DND sign on the door, but I thought they'd stop by Thursday when I was out all day.
I've stayed here a couple times. It's close to work and has convenient stores nearby.

My room had some issues. No hooks for towels in the bathroom which was weird. The sliding glass shower door kept sliding open when showering, which made mornings awkward. I told the front desk, who said someone would check on it, but it wasn't fixed and there was no followup. I guess I just feel like nobody cared about it. Above it mentioned that I requested a quiet room but I don't think I did?
This was my second weeklong stay. It's very close to my company's main office. There's nearby amenities and the staff is friendly. I had a surprisingly large room this time which was great.

The only thing I didn't like was the room wasn't set up for three even though I had 3 people in the reservation. There were only 2 towels and I had to ask for bedding for the sofa bed.

I know it’s not common practice these days but discounted rates for extended stays is something I would love to see more of when it comes to hotels of all varieties :)
Fantastic breakfast and staff!! Room was fairly priced and spacious. Would definitely give 5 stars for comparison to other hotels but the prices everywhere are so high right now, we had a family emergency and hotels just aren’t as affordable as they used to be. The deal we got at the Hampton was actually very generous by today’s standards :)

Honestly this is a little nitpicky but when you’re hungry and tired it makes a difference: just purchase another waffle maker. When we were there there was only one waffle maker and tons of families. When it takes 3-4 mins for a single waffle to cook, it can take a while to even get your breakfast.
Nicely located just down the road from Winco and great coffee. Very quiet
