Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Nothing it was great!
Very close to park entrance, breakfast was delicious, great host with good hiking tips, enjoyed the hot tub and the views from the balcony.

We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully get to go back there again in the future for another visit
We booked a suite which gave us lots of room. The property is located walking distance from Zion, the town and some restaurants. The owners are charming and full of information about the area and the park. Each morning, we were served a healthy, tasty, nutritious hot breakfast. We had a few opportunities to chat about the park, politics, etc

Suzette was so helpful in giving us advice about the activities we can do, about the shuttle to get us to the Observation Point trailhead. Their breakfasts were incredible yummy, healthy, and restaurant quality. Top notch hospitality. Once I'm back to Zion, I will definitely stay with them again!

This place was exceptional! The check in process was simple and the owner provided great details and pictures of what to expect when arriving. The house and rooms were very clean and came with lots of amenities. We greatly enjoyed the breakfast every morning and the owners were very kind and knowledgeable to assist with information about Zion. The view in the backyard and the hot tub was out favorite part to enjoy after a long day of hiking. They provided extra towels and made our experience easy and enjoyable. The location is perfect just a short walk or shuttle ride to the visitor center with access to many close by restaurants. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful setting with the Mountain View’s from the back yard; very peaceful koi pond and yard to relax in after a day of hiking in the park. The room was comfortable and very private. The breakfast was delicious and complete. Every morning was different and very filling. The hosts were very kind and generous with their time. They were helpful in answering our questions about the area. The location of the house was within walking distance to the shuttle stop and close enough to walk to the park entrance. It was convenient to multiple restaurants and stores! It was perfect!

Lovely place close to the entrance to Zion. Hosts are super friendly and generous with hiking/trip recommendations plus cook the best breakfast ever - energy for a full day in the park!

Very nice room, private deck with great views of surrounding mountains. Very close to either bus stop or Zion entrance but on a very quiet side street. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Within walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Air condition not able to be managed separately for each room.
-Clean and comfortable -walking distance to Zion park, Shuttle almost in front of the door -breakfast was healthy and plenty -stuff was quite informed on ongoing restrictions and had lots of recommendation for tours, they know their way around!

We absolutely loved our stay at Harvest House! Noel and Suzette were wonderful and welcoming. Noel was very helpful with his knowledge of the area in and around Zion Park. We were on motorcycles and he gave us an amazing ride! The view on the deck off our room was amazing! Walking distance to several restaurants and Zion park entrance. Breakfast was always delicious. I am looking forward to our next stay.
