It was clean, and the AC unit was cold.

The only thing is that there was no soap or shampoo for the room. Otherwise, it was a great clean room.

Excellent location. Safe. Great staff. Devin checked to see if we were OK, after we were in our rooms. Ac was very comfortable. Rose Marie made us some very tasty waffles with her own special recipe. And she brought it to our table. Breakfast area is very clean.

Days Inn offers the same price per room but has a much larger choice of breakfast menu items and more modern furniture.

    Property response:

We do not have a Devin working here neither do we have a rose Marie ever work here, we don't serve breakfast let alone bringing it to your room. I believe this is a wrong review for the wrong place.

Cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, whoever cleans the rooms is amazing. I wish all hotels were this clean. The matress was comfortable and there was a refrigerator and microwave. Great place to stay for a couple days. Very nostalgic. So dated it's cool.

When I arrived for check in the office was locked. A sign said to ring the night bell. I rang it a couple of times and after while a man unlocked the office. He was dressed sloppy and had a hickey. He was pleasant but not a good look, the group of guys drinking in the corner also was not a good look. Outside the back door of the office, the owners apartment, there was a serious mess. I had requested a second floor room but was put on the first floor.

    Property response:

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONEST REVIEW. The office was locked because, the people managing the motel are entitled to a break and to use the restroom, and while you rang the bell the manager was probably in the bathroom and was dressed sloppy as he had to rush to the door to check you in, the hickey on him was due to his wife. the group of guys drinking beer and having a lil barbeque is a work crew that's been living here for a while and always behave respectful. Regarding the serious paperwork mess by the door, you're complaining as if you were told to clean it up or we had asked you to sleep next to the serious mess and not in your room. Also the next time we see your reservation ill ask the managers wife to make sure she don't leave her husband with a hickey, also we will send the group of respectful guys in their rooms and interrupt their peaceful bbq so it looks good to you...

Clean room, comfortable bed, nice staff.

The exterior is really old looking with weeds growing from cement next to the hotel and the big Motel 8 partially destroyed so I wondered about my room but it turned out to be fine. It’s just really old but the bathroom was up to date. Willcox just seems to be a dying town although there is a cute little downtown.

The price was exceptional. The hotel is a short 4 mile drive from/to the 10 freeway right through the center of the little town of Wilcox. The hotel's is a two-story structure where the rooms are side-by-side and face out toward the parking area. The parking area was very well lit and there was plenty of parking. The pool is located right across the parking lot, adjacent to the main office. The room I stayed in was clean, and well furnished. The bathroom and shower were excellent. I slept like a rock - it was so quiet. The WiFi is free and so is the parking and pool.

There isn't any type of breakfast offered - but for the price - I didn't mind it.

this is the place to stay if you are visiting the Carlsbad Caverns because it is at the entrance to the park road. During the summer they have not just a pool but a mini-water park that is part of the property!

Reception desk people were nice and the room was clean.

This is a budget hotel in the old part of town and our expectations were not high, however I do think they should live up to their promised amenities. The pool was not operational and there was no coffee in the room as advertised. (The Kleenex box was also empty.) We were expecting "continental breakfast" so I went to the office at 8 am and it was locked. I rang the bell and obviously woke the attendant up. There was an empty pot and a few packages of instant oatmeal near his desk. He admitted there was no continental breakfast but offered to bring a coffee pot to the room, which I declined as we were ready to go. We went hiking for the day and when we returned they had removed our used towels but not brought replacements so my husband and I had to share! Update and response to owner: We were expecting only what was advertised and implied with pictures of the pool. I did not request the room refresh and therefore we were surprised that our towels were gone when we returned at the end of the day. If your staff did not remove them, then they were stolen which is even more concerning!

    Property response:

Miss, the pool, as advertised online, does not open until May 15th. We don't serve continental breakfast, nor do we offer to bring coffee to your room, fresh pot of coffee is available upon request in the morning here in the lobby, all you had to do was dial 0 and let us know. sorry about the empty KLEENEX box. Regarding the towels you mentioned that you did not want to be disturbed by housekeeping, so we gave you your privacy. It clearly states on the website WE DO NOT PROVIDE ANY BREAKFAST.

Close to historic downtown, so an easy walk to restaurants and small shops. The closest hotel to Chiricahua National Park. Rooms are older but very clean. The staff was awesome!

Rooms a bit outdated, but they are remodeling
