Needed a place not too far away from Cooperstown for Hall of Fame Ceramony. This was 20 minutes away and everything else was booked. The place really surprised me: Older property (with bigger rooms, naturally) that has been very well kept up. Breakfast was much better than most. Room clean and beds comfortable. It was a one-night stop for us, that I would use again if in the area.

The property is sweet well kept around the grounds. Beautiful pool area. The cleaning staff should take a little more pride in their work by wiping things down. Handprints on the walls in the bathroom dirt in the corners of the bathroom. The room was ground level and there was a lot of ants. I understand that it’s spring but there wasn’t 1 trap anywhere.

United StatesThe main negative was the metal bed frames, which make a loud drum-like noise under certain conditions. We think these frames should be modernized. In addition, the area next to the dumpsters seemed a little sketchy at times although it was reasonably well lit at night.
The location was very important for us because we were attending the junior college basketball championships located at Herkimer College 5 minutes from the hotel. We did not try the complimentary breakfast.
