There were insects in the room. Not roaches, exactly, but small. Water bugs, maybe?

There was a distinct dog smell in the room, which was not good.

Breakfast being included was a plus. Location was helpful.

Check-in at a different hotel across the parking lot was not communicated in advance. It was raining and I am somewhat handicapped, so the additional information would have allowed me to avoid a wet walk across the parking lot and back.

The room is exactly what I would expect from the Red Roof brand. Clean and functional room. Beds were good, not great, but what I would expect. Clean no-frills bathroom with minimal amenities - economy brand standard. I appreciated the refrigerator, which was an extra I was not expecting but VERY happy to see.

It was confusing having to check in through best western.

The toilet cover in the bathroom was loose.

It was clean, friendly staff and the rate per night was fairly reasonable.

My husband's bed was uncomfortable, made noise like a rubber mattress, and the refrigerator still had food and milk in it from other guest. A family was letting their children play in the hallway late at night. 11:00pm. Didn't know that there was breakfast in the Best Western where we had to check in at, for the Red Roof Inn. There's not too many places in the area for breakfast.

We liked the price and close to our destination.

The office is not in the Red Roof Inn, but at the Best Western across the parking lot.

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn when we went to a concert in Hershey. The Inn was exactly as we expected, a no frills hotel. It was clean, we felt safe and was an easy drive to the venue.

The check-in process was confusing. We were supposed to use the Best Western lobby across the parking lot to check in, but the only sign to tell you that was folded over so we couldn't see that right away. Fortunately there was a staff member cleaning rooms and we asked her. The room, while clean and a non-smoking room, smelled like stale cigarette smoke and chemicals. We got used to it after a while but it did catch me off guard.

The room was clean and a decent size for a motel. There have been some apparent updates and the staff members we came across were helpful.

Pillows are key to a good sleep and having a couple of different thicknesses is nice. Two per person. Fridge in the room was nice but it didn't have a freezer compartment so I couldn't freeze my cooler ice pack for the next day.

This a basic motel, but appeared to have been recently updated. Far from fancy, but quite serviceable and clean. It shares a small parking lot with the Best Western and that is where you check in. There is a huge parking lot in the back. Bed was pretty comfortable tho the pillows were pretty thin; still, they were better than the big fat ones some places have that give me a neck ache. No breakfast is available tho they let me get coffee/tea at the Best Western in the morning. I don't care about the breakfast as I am gluten free and can't eat it usually anyway.

The rooms need a good cleaning and a coat of paint. My bed sagged a lot and was uncomfortable.

The location and staff were awesome.

A continental breakfast would have been nice. Maybe some better, more firm beds. But not a terrible place to stay for one night.

This was just simply a stop in and sleep stay for us. We checked in at 3, went to Hersheypark til 10pm, grabbed a pizza to take back to the room. We showered and slept and left the next morning to move on to our next destination. We did not eat breakfast because it was an additional $7/person. It was a decent place for the price and clean but if you’re expecting rich and fancy then move on. I’d stay here again just for a shower and to sleep but I probably wouldn’t spend more than a night or 2.

Dirty rags were left in the room from previous stay. Shampoo bottle was dirty and used before we touched it.

It was very noisy as it is right off of the main road. My room was also very noisy because we were right next to the laundry room. Also had to walk across the parking lot to check in. My air conditioner didn’t work.

Just a caution: Red Roof and Best Western share property, so be careful when looking for it. I passed the hotel, not realizing that there were 2 hotels. Also, Red Roof shares the Best Western lobby, so go there to check in. It's not really a dislike, more of an FYI. The "worst" was that our tv remote did not seem to work, but we were onlt staying the night, so not a big deal.

The hotel was close to our destination and was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. After checking out, i thought i left something in the room, and the desk clerk was willing to let me check the room for the misplaced item. I ended up finding it before reaching the hotel. L

The only staff was housekeeping. She was wonderful! Was very concerned that there was no one in the front desk, office was closed the entire time. Had to go across parking lot to register. I did not feel very secure. Thank goodness the housekeeper was excellent.
