The cleanliness of the bathroom when we arrived could have been better.

Location was at the end of 6th street next to parking lots. Hotel also comes with valet if you need to park your car. We were only in Austin for a night so we used taxis and ubers during our trip. Across the highway is a Whole Foods and Target in case you need anything else. The hotel is also stocked with some toiletries and lots of snacks. The rooms came with a microwave which was great! The bed was comfortable, and it was interesting having a view of the inside the hotel.

I hated the pricing for parking to the point we didn’t park there ! I also hated that the breakfast was NOT FREE, we pay so much on the room to have to pay for breakfast that is very disappointing!

The parking fee was excessive at $70 per night. I would not have booked this hotel if I had known this in advance --it should be have been posted/updated on the site by booking.com As well I was charged another $75 for my pet (which I have paperwork for) and I was never even asked--they just applied the fee. Unacceptable fee tactics and overcharging.

Not as well kept as other hotels in Austin. Not super close to UT, but close to Stubbs.

When I got there , they couldn’t find my reservation. The 1st person who helped me didn’t even really try and brush us off quickly and sent us to another hotel, even after I showed her my reservation. I came back and spoke to another rep, Robin, and she took her time and really went thru to find me. My reservation somehow had my first name as my last name. Thank goodness for robin who was patient. But the only way we noticed that was I saw my name .

Rooms are not sound proof, you can hear jointed rooms all around as well as outside noise. Handicap room only had shower when pictures showed tub. Hard to bath with handheld shower wand. Pillow are too soft, needed several to amount to one to hold head up on.

Parking was very expensive considering there were parking garages available for much cheaper. We used the local parking garages, but would have chosen to park with the hotel if they were comparable. Also, booking.com claimed this location had a hot tub, and it did not. Not the location's fault, no problem to not have one, just was expecting it due to the listing on booking.com

Way too overpriced. Had to walk up stairs from lobby to 10th floor as the 4 elevators never came down to the crowd in the lobby waiting for them. Heater didn't work in the room. Little ants on walls and counter top in bathroom. We had to clean out and wipe down our toiletries bag due to the ants. Was outside at night, walked around the corner were a homeless man was defecating on the sidewalk. Told the guy at the front desk and he did say thanks for letting them know, however the homeless guy was still there the next 2 days. Now we have empathy people, but crapping on the sidewalk, come on now. Of course, we know it isn't the hotels fault on that one, but the room issues, well we are glad they discounted the bill a bit.
