Light came in around the edges of the window - needed room-darkening drapes. Toilet was way too loud - we didn't flush it during the night. Too expensive.

The breakfast - the manager/hostess, Marcie, was excellent. She was attentive, friendly. Front desk was also excellent - very pleasant, funny, and competent. Room was nice and clean. Comfortable bed. AC unit/thermostat worked perfectly and was easy to understand and operate.

The restaurant is a big downer. Very limited menu for breakfast and dinner. For a 5-Star property, I wish the bar could be open longer and availability of some meal option for later. Everything shuts really early.

I went to drop my son for under grad studies at UIUC. The property is lovely. The staff very kind and lovely too. The rooms are large and comfortable. And the location is excellent.

The exercise room was a bit tired and lacking basics like some mats. I admit I have high standards for workout rooms though. The rooms lacked black out curtains or drapes that close. There was only a shade which didn’t keep out the light as early as 6 am. Bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in!

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Like that there was a bar and food options. Close to the athletic stadiums, ample parking, great choice for game weekends.

Guests should be informed when they register that there is not daily maid service. Since we arrived Friday and left Sunday, our room never got made up.

It is ridiculous to be charged for parking. Also there is one lady working upfront that is very rude. Every single time I stay here, I always hope she’s not upfront and I am reconsidering staying at the hotel because of her. She comes across bossy and condescending.

What I didn't like was the bed was too soft. The pillows were not supportive. The window was fogged over between the glass panes. The shower door would not stay open. The flush of the toilet was extremely load, making it impossible to flush and not wake my partner. Breakfast was not included and to purchase it was more than any local diner. Parking was not free with stay.

I liked that the room was clean and spacious. The lighting was ample for the room as well. The small coffee bar as you walked into the room was a cute touch. I enjoyed having a shower instead of bathtub.

Located right next to campus, and convenient for football / basketball games, not to mention Papa Del's and Espresso Royale. Comfortable room, friendly staff, and nice breakfast made the stay very pleasant stay.
