room and hallway had an odor. The hotel equipment was on the roof outside our room. the noise kept waking my husband up. It seems to have gone downhill a little since we last stayed here

Decor is a bit outdated.
The location was very easy to get to. The pet area was nice and clean and away from the property. Our room was clean and spacious. Perfect for a weekend getaway with our dog. The bed was super comfy too.

I thought the price and the previous reviews indicated this would be a great place to celebrate our 55th anniversary, As I mentioned previously, the staff certainly did there part to make that happen. The room on the other hand was just a room. I thought $200 would give me better. The other concernI had was, I booked thru Booking, Inc, and fortuneately I had a conf no.. The motel nad no record of my reservation.

The cleanliness of my room wasn't great. One of the trash cans hadn't even been emptied. The shower system is pretty cheap and makes quite a bit of noise when you take a shower.

The bed was pretty bad, the mattress was so worn that I had constant stiff and sore back. My entire family wound up sinus issues do to im assuming allergens in the room.

Was surprised even the buffet breakfast which was just eggs, meat and home fries was not included. You had to pay for it.

I’m not sure why I was charged $222 for a Tuesday night. Seems a bit much. Some people at front desk were not very friendly. Only one guy stands out as being really kind and friendly. Too bad I didn’t see him much during my stay, I guess he worked more at night. Some of the day shift women were dressed like they were going out to a night club, just overdone and not becoming for the atmosphere.
Main lobby was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Rooms were nice and beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows!

Sunday night we ate in the resturant. Again understaffed but the person there was trying very hard. The cook was not so hot. Pun unintended. She burnt the burgers and the rolls were so dry as to be inedable. the fries were good. There was no sense of urgency to deliver the meal

The laundry facilities codes did not work at all so we had to go to the desk more than once for change.

Hotel could use some updating as non-smoking room still had heavy stale cigarette smell. Also not crazy about the giant bath gel, shampoo & conditioner bottles affixed to shower wall for all guests to use (prefer small individual travel size). Luckily I brought my own hair products. We could also hear every step from the room above us (either very heavy walkers or not enough sound proofing in ceiling). I've never experienced this in a hotel before. Need better lighting in bathroom. I was expecting a lot nicer room for the price paid.
Comfortable room within short distance to downtown and all historical sites. Lots of restaurants nearby as well.
