Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThere was no basic cable to watch; luckily, I could stream from my iPad to the TV; no instructions on the TV or anything about VISIO TV was a bit frustrating. Maintenance showed up wanting to change filters in the unit, so I informed the Host to have them hold off until we leave. (The host was shocked as well when we notified her) The pool was shut down for a couple of hours due to the lack of swim rings required. This is our second time at this resort, a different unit each stay (different hosts); the resort is on the older side, water pressure was weak in both units we stayed in, and renovations were done in both places, but poor workmanship stood out in both units. Units are small but quaint.
It is a short walk to the beach and amenities offered by the resort.

We stayed in this cute apartment with the short walk to the beach. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was equipped with all needed cooking gadgets. We enjoyed the breakfast on the balcony with ocean few in the back. It was very quiet in the building and the property was well maintained. We spent every morning walking on the beach and enjoyed a fabulous sunrise.

United StatesThe ONLY issue I had is that as a light sensitive light sleeper, there was entirely too much light coming in though the bedroom window (even with the blinds and curtains drawn) from the outside hallway lights. So if you’re like me, just bring an eye mask and you’ll be good to go.
Easy walk to beach, lots of activities and restaurants nearby, condo was very clean and very well stocked with everything needed for a beach vacation.

United StatesVilla smelled awful. The sofa in the living area smelled of urine/sewer. The bed was so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep after driving 13 hours. This place should not be rented out. There was no water in the sink in the bathroom. We had to wash our hands in the kitchen sink. We ended up checking out and paying for another place to stay. Beware of this unit. It definitely should be condemned. The smell of mold, urine and sewer was too much for us. Dead bugs in the bedroom floor. Save your money and book with someone else. The owner refused to refund us our money knowing how bad the unit is. I was told through booking.com I was not the only one with complaints on this property

United KingdomWe arrived at the property at 5pm on a Sunday evening to find it was in a filthy condition. We spoke to the owner who apologised and promised a full refund. We chased up a couple of days later when she again said she had emailed us (nothing received) and authorised a refund through Evolve. We phoned your offices and they confirmed they had authority to refund. No refund has been received. We had to find alternative accommodation at short notice on the Sunday evening. This cost us $735. Extremely disappointed.
