The heating was messed up and I didn't like having to park 2 blocks away. Other than that it was wonderful

The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. When our room was too hot because the heating messed up they moved us immediately. Would definitely stay there again

Room was in need of attention. Needs painting. The place appeared very slow and my room looked out to a heating or cooling unit. That was a let down.

Nice location. Staff was very nice. The history of the hotel is nice.

Had to pay full price cause they never got my referral.

I'm a lifelong member of Western South Dakota and I love to get rooms all over the place. I like this motel but review wise they are all the same.Enjoy your stay.

THE BEDS WERE NOT THAT COMFORTABLE AND THE BEDSPREAD HAD A STAIN ON IT. SHOWER HEAD DID NOT WORK WELL. THE WORST PART WAS THE NOISE IN THE ROOM ABOVE US. WOKE US UP MANY TIMES DURING THE NIGHT.

CHECK IN WAS EASY AND THE DOORMAN WAS WONDERFUL IN HELPING WITH OUR BAGS AND GIVING INFO ABOUT DEADWOOD.

The rooms are old, but I find it charming.

The location couldn't be better. It's so convenient and nothing beats walking straight downstairs to the best breakfast in Deadwood. And I love the history of these old buildings

The dated condition of the hotel

The hotel is old which adds to the quate atmosphere. However it needs updating. It has reached its life expectancy. The lication is excellent and the staff work hard to make your visit great.

The rooms are really dated, the bed was uncomfortable and the shower was terrible. The blind on the window was broken.

Rooms were just OK. The carpet was stained stained, plaster was cracked, paint was chipping and the shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold.

The hotel and rooms itself were average but we wanted to stay in a historic hotel while in Deadwood, SD. The staff was courteous and very helpful. The best part of our stay was eating at the hotel restaurant "Legends". Probably the best steak I ever had.
