Was a little disappointed that the pool was located in a second building (over the road) which meant i didn't use it but this is also because I had a leg injury which made this harder than normal for me.

I thought the room size and style was great. I liked the lobby and the location was great. Easy check in with a door code too! Oh and the bed was really comfortable :D

Some work was going on which made it a bit messy/ noisy sometimes. Our room was charming but quite dark. I’d have loved a bit more natural light without flashing the courtyard

Charming and unique, super location, lovely romantic little pool, friendly staff.

There was A. Daytime staff member there running the front desk. That was very rude to everyone.

The staff member named Michelle was wonderful. The entire time, the the mansion was unique and comfortable. The pool and hot tub was very relaxing.

Since it is an old house, the sound proof isn't exist. You can hear almost everyone. But the great thing is the guests are all respectful.

Lovely place in a beautiful mansion. The room is big and comfortable.

wish there had been a way to open the window for some fresh air--just running the AC didn't seem to keep the air very fresh at all.

The pot holes around the area but that is not their fault.

The staff was awesome. They also informed us of great things to do around the city. They held our bags while we waited for the room and they were knowledgeable and friendly. It was within walking distance of the French Quarter and the room was fantastic and spacious. They have a pool and for a fee they have limited parking available.

This is being overly picky (really, it was a great stay), but communication is maybe a place for growth. For instance, the code to the front gate never worked for us, and no one answered the phone to help because it was after office hours. Another guest said he, too, had had the code changed on him without warning. Additionally, the listing says check in is at 3:00. We got a text saying that because of Easter, the office was _closing_ at 3. It was just dumb luck that we were already on the road. There were after-hours instructions, but it did add a layer of unknown and a little stress to the checking in process.

Our room has so much charm, and the location was absolutely perfect. It was an easy walk to the French Quarter in a quiet neighborhood with a couple good restaurants. The pictures don't do it justice. I would enthusiastically recommend this place to anyone and would certainly stay here again. It was gorgeous, and I appreciated the little touches like mints in the room, coffee and snacks in the lobby, and the updated bathroom facilities that still had so much charm.

The hot tub apparently had lots of bleach in it (instead of chlorine), which was not great - be careful if you have sensitive skin.

Walking distance from French Quarter, nice self-service breakfast, complimentary drinks in pool area.

The house and the room are old, which showed everywhere including with the appliances. On the other hand, the house and room are old in a good sense, full of charme and it felt authentic and interesting staying there. Beds were comfortable. It is on a stately street, ideally located between French Quarter, Frenchmen Street and Treme. Everything is in walking distance. Parking in front was available, the interstate just some blocks away. Free coffee, tea, water, and cereals. Manager was very nice and helpful.

The room was clean-ish, but we did find the occasional bug, or bug carcass, on the windowsill. It's an old building. Not a big deal, but it was the only downside to the trip.

I enjoyed the room and distance to Frenchman st, however, if you go on the other side of the freeway, it could get a little sketch.

Just need to ask about the heating/cooling system when you get there - how to adjust it to your comfort level.

Because this was a mansion it was pretty cool. Not like typical hotel rooms. Had a little refrigerator and sink in the common area. Bathroom was new/updated. We had a 4-post king bed - nice! Staff was great and helpful. Location amazing - only 5 blocks from Bourbon Street and 5 more down to all the hub-bub. So it was great to not be right in the French Quarter but so walkable to get to it.

Our stay was exceptional, we were so happy to chose this hotel, it was comfortable, the people at the lobby was nice (they helped with any question about our stay) and there were snacks at the entrance, we enjoyed that the neighborhood was very calm and quiet, but close to a lot of things, we loved the hot tub and used it at nights when we were tired. We talked everyday: what a good decision!

The morning breakfast set up was underwhelming - just a couple of pieces of fruit and a few granola bars. There was a large coffee thermos, but no coffee - just more of the same make-it-yourself packets as in the room. There were some pouches of instant grits, but we didn't see any bowls or utensils. What little there was, was not laid out in a user-friendly fashion.

The room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable, with nice linens. The bathroom was convenient and immaculately clean. There were many small thoughtful details, such as a full length mirror by the door; a small sink in addition to coffee set up and small fridge. The outdoor area was nice and clean. They allow dogs for a reasonable fee. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
