There is really nothing that I can think of.

AKA Hotel is simply great. I stayed there for 5 nights, so believe I can say I had decent time to experience it. I liked pretty much everything about it. Staff is super friendly. Facilities, at least the ones I used, are great, loved the cinema room. Location in Alexandria, walking distance to Waterfront and King’s street.

Blackout shades are needed!

Absolutely beautiful! Extremely spacious room with all the amenities. One drawback- the window shades were sheer with light filtering through. Blackout shades are needed. The bar and lounge area was warm and inviting. The staff was exceptional. Access to the city was within minutes and the hotel was a short drive to Reagan Airport. Highly recommend! I wouldn’t consider staying elsewhere!

Nothing. All perfect!

The property was very modern and clean. Every single detail was perfect. The architecture, the furniture, the art work/paintings on the wall even the smell of the hotel was nice. The staff were absolutely amazing. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The door staff who stood outside the hotel lobby day and night always made sure to open and close the hotel doors as you enter/exit. Such a nice touch. Even the bakery/cafe was perfect. We didn’t get time to experience the bar on our trip but even that looked fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!!

We couldn’t find light switch where the Nespresso was, so we had to put up a towel the cover the lights.

The breakfast was unimpressive. Our shower didn’t work so we had to shower in a different room. However our parking and breakfast fees were deducted from our bill to make up for the inconvenience.

There are Nespresso machines in the rooms which are wonderful, but if you are a tea drinker they are not as convenient to use. This is a small detail for an otherwise comfortable room.

The property had a very modern, minimalist feel in a charming, walkable neighborhood. There are several eating options close by if you prefer an alternative to the onsite cafe and restaurant.

For the daily rate amount, it seems that similar hotels provide some sort of breakfast, but Hotel AKA does not. The television wouldn't load the streaming apps, we kept getting an error message when trying to access it.

I would suggest upgrading the TV system - it is quite old and could not make it work with my iPhone.

Our coffee machine shorted the room 3 times and was unable to be fixed. Safe wasn’t unlocked and didn’t get opened. These are minor things that can be fixed with a good maintenance person. Don’t let this deter you from staying here. Also excellent tea selection but the coffee machine can’t produce hot water to the temperature needed to make tea so it was a false start for me! The standard of this hotel befits a proper kettle - even one of those cool Japanese kettle specially for tea.

Ambience of the hotel, fabulous coffee (best coffee in two weeks) and fresh and lovely food in the cafe. Highlight is the friendly staff at the front desk every time of day.

The front desk representative was a bit distant. He also didn't speak up in a good, strong voice, something older visitors appreciate. We felt that this might not be a place where people in their 60s and 70s would be welcome. However, the room was delightful.

The room had all the bells and whistles one could hope for. A lot of thought went into outfitting the room. The small refrigerator was especially appreciated. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Paper thin walls, could hear a screaming argument on the floor under us at 4:30am that lasted over an hour. Would’ve liked those people kicked out of the hotel rather than the “warning” we were told was given to them based on multiple people calling to complain
