How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No breakfast included!! Paying for parking is wrong. Increase your room prices $12. We stayed for 9 days!! $12 a,day in parking is robbery. Maybe give free parking if you stay so many days. Not sure if we will stay again. We will find a hotel providing parking and breakfast

The staff was not the friendliest. Arrived at 2:50 pm. and was told to check in at 3 pm. Parking was an additional $12 per night. Breakfast was a very basic continental and not worth the $16 per person. The fact that whatever they stamp the toilet paper with to put the logo wet the entire roll of paper which grossed me out because all I could think was that they stamp it with toilet water. The tvs were stuck on the hotel home screen.
The property was beautiful, the rooms were clean and great sized. The pool was big and clean.

Paying for parking $12/day - that's ridiculous when already paying $200+ for a room. It should be included.
Staff was friendly, helpful and competent. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Room smelt of smoke from previous guest. I was charged for smoking in the room when nobody in our party smoked. This was not disclosed when I asked for the hotel folio at check out but noticed on our credit card charge otherwise would have disputed this at time of check out. Was charged for parking which I thought was excessive based on the hotels location. Stayed in a wheel chair accessible room. Bathroom had tiles missing and some hand rails were loose.
Location was great. Close to where we needed to be. Balcony's on each room.

12 bucks for parking. Really? Too much $ for convenience items like water sodas bar etc as a comp to other hotels. They are not convenient, rather frustrating they are there but too much making you fell you are being ripped off

The TVs did not work consistently. Room was not serviced one day. No limes at the bar for most of my week there. Alcohol at bar was skimpy & not refilled during the week. Room keys had to be rekeyed frequently. No restaurant one evening. Bill was incorrect, but fixed.
Staff were really nice. Room was comfortable. Food was good.

I reserved a walk in shower or a handicap room but got a regular room and tub. The problem was corrected quickly. The rooms are getting tired and the carpeting is frayed. Also, I think the $250 hold for potential charges is excessive and still has not been released. There are no USB ports in the room--something even Motel 6 has.
The front staff is great and friendly. The setting is great and it has a relaxed atmosphere.
