Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Wasn't aware of all the construction, and pool being closed, dragged bathing suit from Orlando.
The breakfast was varied, hot and wonderful. The man running it did an excellent job.

There was remodeling going on, which was announced, but was noticeable in the elevator as well as the swimming pool being closed.
My son and I enjoyed the breakfast choices, including the mini pancake maker and the premade omelets. Staff was courteous and attentive.

there was not much options for breakfast like "hot food" wise, just eggs and pancakes but it was still very good.

My bed was too firm.
The hotel was clean, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was wonderful. They were kind and helpful. The location was great!!! Near shopping, restaurants and a movie theatre!!

My only criticism is that it was 20-30 dollars more a night than the two other Holiday Inn's in town, just because of location. I almost didn't book.
This is a clean, cozy, wonderfully located Holiday Inn. It has all of the comforts you would expect, along with the location which is excellent. Tons of stores and restaurants all around.

The Ogre that was tending to the breakfast was very rude, not just to us but others as well. You better be sure that you made it to breakfast before 8:45am in order to enjoy the good stuff like bacon & pancakes even though breakfast was over at 9:30am. The pancake bag needed to be replaced before 9am & when a lady asked for it to be replaced, the Ogre said the machine wasn't working anymore. This would've been a great stay overall if I didn't have to start my vacation days around such a nasty attitude.
Convenient location - walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants, & movies.

Walls seemed thin, people in the hall talking was very loud. The bed was very hard. No regular coffee for the keurig. Missed a microwave. But these are not deal breakers. We'll maybe the bed. Are the mattresses the same in all the rooms as in firmness?
Staff was friendly, location was great, room was nice and clean. I liked that breakfast was until 10, most other hotels close up at 9. And check out was at 12 that's nice when you want to sleep in on weekends. You are able to walk to restaurants, and there are many to choose from. I also love the bottles of shampoo and soap in the shower. Plugs in the side table are a huge thing for me, I don't like to stand on my head to plug my phone in. Lol

There was an issue with the amount of my bill. The hotel had submitted an amount to my credit card for pre-authorization that was more than the amount of the final amount I was to be charged according to the reservation made on booking.com. I provided the desk clerk with a copy of my reservation. The next day, I was informed that the percent for taxes listed on the reservation form was less than what the tax rate actually was. This was a miscommunication between the hotel and booking.com. The hotel agreed to adjust the room rate in order to charge me what the reservation made at booking.com showed. As a traveler I was in the middle. Booking.com and hotels have a responsibility to ensure that current tax rates are identified properly so that my situation does not arise in the future.

Walls are thin, every morning 430 am our neighbors alarm would go off for 2 hours - very annoying. Additionally, surprise charge to my credit card, when I called regarding this they said we had a pet - we did not have a pet with us and if we did why didn't one of the staff members talk to us about it? Very shady....would strongly advise you to check your credit card after staying at this hotel. We are still trying to resolve the unauthorized charge.
